Mallory syndrome - Weiss
Mallory syndrome - Weiss, in which the source of gastrointestinal bleeding is a crack, a typical clinical picture: after drinking alcohol or taking large quantities of food begins massive vomit gastric contents, and then unmodified blood with clots. Bleeding is rarely intense. The diagnosis specify when endoscopy, during which, as a rule, one can safely stop the bleeding.
Treatment. In addition to endoscopic techniques used cold, antacids, stimulants, blood coagulation, aminocaproic acid inside. If unable to stop the bleeding or endoscopic repeated relapses it shows surgery - gastrotomy, needling breaks mucosal cardia of the stomach, sometimes further tie up the left gastric artery.
