Avitaminosis is a group of diseases that are different in clinical manifestations, developing as a result of severe vitamin deficiencies in the body (beriberi, pellagra, scurvy, etc.).

Causes of avitaminosis: night blindness - lack of vitamin A, beriberi - lack of vitamin B 1 , scurvy - a lack of vitamin C, rickets - a lack of vitamin D, pellagra - a lack of vitamin PP.
