And Solomon the son of David was established in his kingdom; And the Lord his God [was] with him, and lifted him high. |
2
|
And Solomon commanded all Israel to be gathered: the captains of thousands, and hundreds of captains, and judges, and all the rulers of all Israel, the heads of the fathers. |

And Solomon and all the congregation with him went up to the high place that is in Gibeon, for there was the tabernacle of God's tabernacle, which Moses the servant of the Lord built in the wilderness. |

|
The ark of God brought David from Kirjath-jearim to the place that David had prepared for him, having built a tabernacle for him in Jerusalem. |
5
|
And the bronze altar that Bezaleel made, the son of Uriah, the son of Hur, [remained] there before the tabernacle of the Lord, and Solomon sought him with the congregation. |

And there before the LORD, on the brazen altar that was before the tabernacle of the congregation, Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings. |
7th
|
That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him: Ask what I should give you. |
8
|
And Solomon said unto God: Thou hast great mercy to David my father, and made me king in his stead. |
9
|
May God's word be fulfilled to David my father. Since You have made me king over a multitude of people, like the dust of the ground, |
10
|
Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I [am able] to go out before this people and enter, for who can control this great people of yours? |

And God said to Solomon, Because it was in your heart, and you did not ask for riches, possessions and glory and the soul of your enemies, and also did not ask you for many days, but asked for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people, over Which I made you king, |

Wisdom and knowledge are given to you, and riches and possessions and glory I will give you such as the kings did not have before you and will not be after you.

|
And Solomon came from the high place that was in Gibeon, from the tabernacle of the congregation, to Jerusalem, and reigned over Israel. |
14
|
And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; And he had a thousand and four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen; And he placed them in chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. |
15
|
And the king made silver and gold in Jerusalem equal to the stone, and made cedars, according to their multitude, the equivalent of sycamore trees, which are in low places. |
16
|
Solomon's horses were brought from Egypt and from Kuva; Merchants royal from Kuva received them for money. |
17th
|
The chariot was obtained and was delivered from Egypt for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty. In like manner, they delivered it to all the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Aramaic. |
