Genesis 49

1 And Jacob called his sons and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the days to come;
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob, listen to Israel your father.
3 Reuben, my firstborn! You - my strength and the firstfruits of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power;
4 but you Unstable as water, thou shalt --Not excel; because you went up to your father's bed; then you defiled my bed couch.

5 Simeon and Levi are brothers, weapons of violence are their swords;
6 their council let not my soul shall come in, and their assembly let not my glory will join, because in their anger they slew a man, and hamstrung oxen
7 Cursed be their anger, so fierce, and their fury, so cruel! I divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.

8 Judas! thee shall thy brethren praise. Hand shall be on the neck of thine enemies; I bow down to you the sons of your father.
9 Judah is a lion, from the prey, my son,. He couched, he lay down as a lion and as a lioness, who shall rouse him?
10 Scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the legislator from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him nations.
eleven He binds to the vine his foal to the vine and grapes better his ass; washes in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes his garments;
12 His eyes shall [it] with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

13 Zebulun at the seashore will to live and a haven of ships, and his border shall be unto Zidon.
14 Issachar is a strong ass, lying between the sheepfolds;
15 and he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
16 Dan will judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel;
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
18 Waited for thy salvation, O Lord!
19 Gad, --tolpa shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
20 For Asher - too his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
21 Naphtali - Terevinf tall, dissolve the fine branches.

22 Joseph - a fruitful [wood], a fruitful [tree] of the source; His branches run over the wall;
23 They grieved him, and shot at him and hated archers,
24 but his bow abode, and strong arms of his hands on the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob. From there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel,
25 God of your father, [who] shall help thee, and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts and womb,
26 The blessings of your father, that exceed the blessings of the ancient mountains and the pleasures of the eternal hills; they shall be on the head of Joseph and on the crown favorite among his brothers.
27 Benjamin is a ravenous wolf, in the morning will have lovitvu and in the evening shall divide the spoil.

28 Here are all the twelve tribes of Israel; and this is what their father said to them; and he blessed them, and gave them a blessing, to each his own.
29 And he charged them and said to them, I am to be gathered unto my people; Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
thirty in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burial;
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah;
32 field and the cave that is in it, purchased from the children of Heth.
33 And Jacob finished commanding his sons, and his feet into the bed, and died, and was gathered to his people.
