Hosea 4

Hear the word of the Lord, the children of Israel; For the judgment of the Lord with the inhabitants of this land, because there is no truth, no mercy, no knowledge of God on earth.
The oath and deceit, murder and theft, and adultery are very widespread, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
For this shall the land mourn, and all that dwell on it shall mourn, with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air, even the fish of the sea shall perish.
But no one argues, no one rebukes the other; And your people are like those who argue with the priest.
And thou shalt fall by day, and the prophet shall fall with thee at night, and I will destroy thy mother.

th My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: for as you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from the priesthood before Me; And as you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
th The more they multiply, the more they sin against Me; I will turn their glory into dishonor.
By the sins of my people they feed, and their soul seeks iniquity.
And what will happen to the people, then with the priest; And I will punish him according to his ways, and I will repay him according to his deeds.
They will eat, and not be satisfied; They will wander, and they will not multiply; For they have forsaken the service of the Lord.
eleven Fornication, wine and drinks have taken hold of their heart.

My people ask their own tree and a rod of it gives him an answer; For the spirit of fornication has led them astray, and they have turned from their God for whoredoms.
On the tops of the mountains they bring sacrifices and on the hills they burn incense under an oak and poplar and terevinth, because a shadow is good from them; Therefore your daughters fornicate and your sister-in-law commit adultery.
I will leave to punish your daughters when they commit immorality, and your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery, because you yourself are on the side of harlots and you offer sacrifices with the fornicators, and the ignorant people perish.
If you, Israel, fornicate, then let not Judah sin; And do not go to Gilgal, and do not go up to Beth-aven, and swear not: 'As the Lord liveth!'
For as a stubborn heifer, Israel became obstinate; Therefore will the Lord now feed them like lambs in a vast pasture?
th I got attached to the idols of Ephraim; leave him alone!
Their drunkenness is disgusting, they have been completely committed to fornication; Their princes love shameful things.
The wind will cover them with their wings, and they will be ashamed of their victims.
