And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying: |
2
Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; |
3
and gather all the congregation to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. |
4
Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tent of meeting. |
5
And Moses said unto the congregation, this is what the LORD commanded to make. |
6
And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water; |
7
and I laid on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him, and girded him with the girdle of the ephod and attached them to the ephod on him, |
8
and I laid on him the breastplate, and put on the breastplate the Urim and Thummim, |
9
and I put a turban on his head and on the front of the turban with his put the plate of the holy crown, as the LORD commanded Moses. |
10
And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them; |
eleven
And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them; |
12
And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head and anointed him, to sanctify him. |
13
And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.
14
And he brought the bullock for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for a sin offering; |
15
and slaughtered [it], and he took the blood and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar, and purified the altar, and [the rest of] the blood poured out at the foot of the altar, and sanctified it, to make it clean. |
16
And he took all the fat that is upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and Moses burned it on the altar; |
17
But the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses. |
18
And he brought the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram; |
19
and slaughtered [it], and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar; |
20
and cut the ram into pieces, and Moses burned the head and the parts and the fat |
21
and the inwards and the legs he washed in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering of a sweet savor, and an offering to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
22
And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram; |
23
and slaughtered [it]; and Moses took the blood thereof, and put it on the right ear of Aaron and on the edge of the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. |
24
And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put the blood on the edge of their right ear and upon the thumb of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet, and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar on all sides. |
25
And he took the fat and the rump, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and both kidneys and their fat and the right shoulder; |
26
and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened bread and one with oil and one wafer, and put them on the fat and upon the right shoulder; |
27
and I put it all in the hands of Aaron and on his sons' hands, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD; |
28
And Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar upon the burnt offering as an ordination offering for a sweet savor, and an offering to the Lord. |
29
And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: it was Moses' portion of the ram of ordination, as the LORD commanded Moses. |
thirty
And Moses took the anointing oil and the blood that is on the altar and sprinkled Aaron and his garments, and his sons and the garments of his sons with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons and the garments of his sons with him.
31
And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it; |
32
and the remains of the meat and bread you shall burn in the fire. |
33
Seven days do not go out of the door of the tabernacle congregation, until the days of your consecration, for seven days shall he consecrate you |
34
as it has been done this day, so the LORD commanded to make an atonement for you; |
35
at the entrance of the tent of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the Lord, that we not die; for so I am commanded [from God]. |
36
So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD commanded Moses. |
