Psalm 4
1 | ^^ To the chief Musician. On Strings [guns]. A Psalm of David. ^^ (4-2) When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness! In close quarters you gave me space. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer. |
2 | (4-3) The sons of men! until my glory into shame? How long will ye love vanity, and seek falsehood? |
3 | (4-4) Know that the Lord separated the godly for himself; The Lord hears when I call to him. |
4 | (4-5) Be ye angry, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still; |
5 | (4-6) Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in the Lord. |
6 | (4-7) Many say, Who will show us any good? ' Show us the light of thy face, O Lord! |
7 | (4-8) You gladness in my heart from the time that their corn and their wine increased. |
8 | (4-9) Quietly I will lie down and sleep: for thou, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. |
