9.6. LIMIT VALUE OF THE NON-EXCLUSIVE SUPERFLUX I nm

This parameter characterizes the ability of the RCD to not respond to symmetrical short-circuit and overload currents and is also an important indicator of the quality of the device. It is not correct to assume that this is the current in which the RCD should trip.

The specifications define the minimum value of non-disconnecting current equal to six times the nominal load current:

I nm = 6I n .

The maximum value of the non-switching overcurrent is not normalized and can have values ​​much greater than 6I n .
