At the end of the worm is put a celluloid washer, not to notice which is quite elementary when assembled. Without the washer, the end of the worm begins to touch the sharp edges of the mounting slot and lock the mechanism. If you put a hard pasik, then the end begins to wear out intensively, until the entire worm begins to disengage from the drive pulley. I came across specimens 3 mm shorter than the original, near the software gear, this creates a whole mountain of plastic shavings.

2). FUNAI, AIWA, DAEWOO and others.

In the LPM of many video recorders of different models (Funai, Aiva, Daewoo, etc.), a loading engine is used, which is structurally installed from above and through the passive and the worm transfers rotation to the other LPM nodes. The engine is usually mounted on a flange and fixed with two screws. Remove the filling engine and fasten it to one screw, attach the belt to the pulley and rotate the engine to pull the passiper to the required value, then tighten the bolt. Further, as the wearer wears off, this technique can be repeated. The motor becomes higher, but the VCR cover normally closes freely.

3). FUNAI VIP-5000HC MKII.
