The wheel appeared spontaneously at the dawn of civilization a little after such adaptations as a club and a spear. With the help of the latter, they successfully hunted mammoths, which served as a prototype of the wheel. The carcases were so thick and round that it was easier to roll them to the cave than to carry them on themselves. Subsequent awareness and refinement of the invention led to the disappearance of this species of animal. Evolving people increasingly use the wheel to complicate the system with its application. But he, from the moment of his birth, has a constant need for energy, which creates fertile ground for progress. Cattle was not able to provide energy for a long time with the gluttony of the wheel. It took new sources, one of which was fire.
Perhaps the gods did not know what would lead to the betrayal of one of them, otherwise he would not have gotten away with only the liver.
Wood and coal are replaced by high-carbon fuels. After apply the ability to release the thermal energy of heavy elements. The wheel becomes stronger. Rotating, it quickly absorbs any fuel increasing the overall temperature background on the planet.
