There are two similar capacitors near the planet. One is placed between the ionosphere and the surface of the planet, and the second is between the radiation belts of the planet.

Method of using the energy of a natural electric capacitor between the plates
Radiation belts of the planet

The purpose of the proposal is the useful use on board of the fuelless orbiting satellite at altitudes of tens of thousands of kilometers above the planet of a miserable part of this huge discharge electric power of this near-planetary capacitor. This is achieved as follows:

  • First, they organize a circuit for the electrical discharge of the capacitors of this capacitor, opposite charges of the discharge current of the space plates of this capacitor along the ionizing beam from the ionosphere and the electronosphere of the RPZ, and the discharge current is started and concentrated by directional irradiation of these plates by means of an airborne ionizer located at the orbital station of the KE inside the RPZ. Power supply of the ionizer is carried out from solar panels;
  • Then a controlled discharge of this natural near-planetary capacitor is carried out along the beam of the given ionizer through the payload;
  • Close the electrical circuit of concentrated charges of the ionosphere and the electronosphere of the radiation belt through the ionizer electroconducting beam to the side load, for example, to the ohmic resistance;
  • Transform the isolated potential difference of a given natural capacitor on special electrodes by means of an electromagnetic oscillator, for example, into electromagnetic waves of the required frequency and phase of an X-ray ionizing laser and a microwave generator;
  • Directively emit electromagnetic waves in said frequency bands by means of transmitting devices to predetermined objects, for example, ground receiving antennas;
  • Then transform this energy of electromagnetic radiation from space already on Earth into the electric power of the required parameters;
  • Transmit the electric power of the discharge of the RPZ in the form of electromagnetic directional radiation to other space objects and other objects located outside the direct electromagnetic connection with the space power plant. For example, through a system of three geostationary energy repeaters, providing almost 100% coverage of the entire earth's surface.

A rational variant of such a device in the mode of generating electric power on board an orbiting satellite is the addition of its transmit antenna to convert the extracted potential difference from the mentioned electrodes by means of a low-frequency inverter (a kind of electromagnetic oscillator) and a transformer-rectifier device into direct and alternating current electric power of the required parameters directly on The space power plant itself. The concentration of electric charges in the discharge zones of the RPZ can be carried out additionally by on-board magnetic traps.

The above-mentioned space fuel-free power stations do not yet allow creating powerful energy units to cover the needs of civilization for electricity on Earth, since the concentration of energy received on board is limited by the size of their structures. Another thing is when creating terrestrial ionospheric energy complexes. Here, the dimensions of fuel-free power plants can be significant, and the concentration of removal energy from the ionosphere to Earth by discharging the ionosphere along the ionizing beam can reach thousands of megawatts. Let's consider this project in more detail.

Method of using ionospheric capacitor energy

In the near-planetary space there is a huge natural "reservoir" of natural electricity. It is formed around the planet as a powerful naturally recharged from the solar plasma near-earth electric capacitor with the plates "ionosphere-surface of the Earth." In this space, a natural MHD generator operates on natural plasma. It is he who constantly recharges the plates of the "ionosphere-Earth" of this near-earth capacitor. Its power is enormous and far exceeds the total capacity of all power plants in the world. The paradox of the situation is that periodically this very natural near-planetary electric capacitor is useless, and sometimes dangerously partially discharged during anomalous natural phenomena in different points of the planet. For example, this occurs during numerous thunderstorms, cyclones, hurricanes and earthquakes. But, it turns out, it is quite possible to use this huge renewable energy more useful. To this end, we have proposed simple and useful ways of discharging it through a payload with the generation of electricity on Earth or in space. For this it is only necessary to organize a controlled discharge of the plates of this capacitor through a useful electrical load. Our way of using renewable energy of this generator for the needs of world energy is based on the simplest laws of electrical engineering and electric power engineering connecting parallel loads to the source of electricity. Partial controlled discharge of this ionospheric capacitor is environmentally safe, as it constantly happens in nature. Therefore, part of the discharge energy of a given natural electricity capacitor can be used to generate useful electricity in a ground load.

The new energy sources of this type proposed by me are shown in simplified form in Fig. 1. The device (Fig. 1) in the terrestrial ionospheric version includes an ionizer (6) located on the electrical insulator (7). Above it are placed toroidal charge-collecting electrodes (4) connected to an electrical load (3) and an electric earthing (5), deepened into a wet ground (2). The ionosphere (1), and (8) - the cone of ionospheric current discharge to the load (3). As an ionizing radiation source, it is expedient to use an X-ray laser.

The scheme of the method of using the ionospheric capacitor energy

Such a fuel-free powerful terrestrial ionospheric power station (Fig. 1) is realized on the Earth by connecting one end of the electric payload to the ionosphere charged positively relative to the planet's surface through an ionizing beam directed from the Earth's surface to the ionosphere or backwards from space to Earth, And the other end of the electrical load is reliably grounded or placed in a natural electrolyte, for example in the World Ocean.

Let us describe in more detail the operation of this device in a simplified scheme (Fig. 1) in the terrestrial-space version. Initially, from the Earth, from the ionizer (6), directional ionization of the atmosphere is created up to its upper layers and the edge of the ionosphere (20-30 km above the planet). Since the magnitude of the voltage of this natural plate (1) of the ionospheric capacitor relative to the surface (2) of the planet is enormous (of the order of 300-400 kilovolts), the process of ionization of the atmosphere ends soon with a glowing or corona quiet discharge of the ionospheric potential along the ionizing beam to the electrodes (4) and a grounding electrode 5). After a reliable electrical breakdown of the ionosphere to the load and the formation of a cone (8) of ionospheric current discharge to the ground, the ionizing source can be turned off. Further, as the current of the ionospheric capacitor is increased, the electric load (3) with the maximum resistance is connected parallel to the electrodes (4) and the required load current is gradually output by adjusting the load parameters (3). Thus, the ionizing beam from the ionizer (6) creates an electrically conductive channel (8) for discharging the ionosphere (1) into the Earth's conductive layers (2) through the earth electrode (5), the electrode (4) and the useful electrical load (3).

The creation of such an unconventional power plant is realistic due to the huge supply of electricity from a natural near-earth capacitor and the presence of a mechanism for its natural constant renewal from the natural ionospheric plasma and the solar wind.

The given method and device can provide electricity to either a separate electric consumer, considerable power (hundreds of megawatts) with adjustable power removal, which is carried out by means of an adjustable load, or even the whole of civilization, provided that such installations are safely placed in deserted uninhabited places without damage to the environment. The maximum power of the removed electricity from the ionosphere is maximum in winter, since the solar wind flow during this period to the planet is maximal.

Methods of using natural ionospheric electricity

How to most simply convert the energy of the ionosphere discharge into useful types of energy. In my opinion, it is most expedient and simple to turn the energy of a current discharge into heat by means of an electric heating of reservoirs with water. To obtain the thermal energy of the vapor from the energy of the discharge of the ionospheric capacitor (Fig. 1), heavy-duty electro-steam generators are used as a load, through which powerful currents of the ionosphere discharge pass. The resulting steam is used further for the purpose - both for heat supply to cities, and for generating electricity through traditional steam turbines and thermal power plants. A more direct way is to convert electricity on a load to standard power, for example, using high-power high-frequency converters (inverters). But this way is technically more complicated.

In the cosmic embodiment of discharging the ionosphere from an orbiting satellite, an ionizer and a payload are set on the satellite itself.

The method and devices have been checked so far only in the laboratory. This type of devices for the useful discharge of this capacitor has already been investigated by me on operating models and mathematical models. It has been proved by calculations and experiments that the present method of obtaining electricity from natural electricity is environmentally friendly and can serve as an alternative to the existing methods of traditional electricity generation. In addition, it can and serve in the future as an effective way to manage the weather and climate of the planet.

Weather and natural phenomena management

In order to understand how to manage abnormal natural phenomena with the help of new non-traditional energy, we briefly recall their physical essence [1]. Earlier I have already investigated and proved that the physical essence of many anomalous natural phenomena consists in the electromechanical transformation of the excess energy of natural electricity into the mechanical and thermal energy of cyclones, hurricanes and earthquakes [1], [3]. The ionosphere of the planet is designed in such a way that it can retain only a certain number of charged particles of natural plasma. Then it begins to dump surplus electricity through the atmosphere or transform its electrical and electromagnetic energy during magnetic storms into the Earth. Thus, in fact, the surplus of natural electricity is the trigger mechanism of the beginning of these anomalous natural phenomena and the source of energy for these elements. The earthquake is the result of excessive injection of natural electricity into underground condensers. It occurs at the time of electric breakdown of the plates of underground natural capacitors with the release of huge energy in the form of an electro-hydraulic shock under the ground. The hurricane is the result of a powerful and wide breakdown of the ionosphere into the World Ocean and the Earth. This leads to a powerful twist of ionized air and marine ionized water, according to the rules of electromechanics under the influence of Ampere's force.

Therefore, the task and methodology of the new energy for controlling abnormal natural phenomena consists in a controlled and useful discharge of surplus energy of the near-planetary space into a payload. For example, according to the scheme of the device (Figure 1), using the part, and especially the surplus energy of natural electricity and magnetism in useful rather than destructive purposes, it is possible to control the weather of the planet. To do this, it is necessary to artificially cause breakdowns of the ionosphere and the occurrence of cyclones and precipitation at the right points of the World Ocean of the planet. With this method, it is possible to regulate even the climate of the planet and prevent many abnormal natural phenomena, for example, to prevent magnetic storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. [2], [4].

In short, to control natural phenomena it will be sufficient to stabilize the intensity and magnitude of the reserves of this natural energy continuously replenished from the Sun in the magnetosphere of the planet. This can be achieved only with the help of our method. Namely, by transferring the excess of this energy of natural geoelectricity and geomagnetism from the near-planetary space with the help of the special energy systems described above in the article and in the form of directed electromagnetic radiation from space to Earth. For example, by transferring the electric power of a near-planetary natural generator from space from special transmitting space antennas to transducer satellites, it is directed to receive Earth antennas.

The main areas of application and dignity of the new space energy systems

  1. Nonfuel cosmonautics and space exploration.
    There is a real possibility of using these devices in the ionospheres of other planets and their satellites, since it has already been established that in many near-planetary spaces the huge unused renewable electric energy of moving charged particles of natural plasma in the planetary magnetosphere, for example, is already concentrated and continuously replenished from the Sun Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Io. Such new energy is quite real and such a fuel-free manned orbital space program will significantly reduce the cost of mastering outer space.
  2. Solving ecological global problems.
    The use of renewable energy of natural electricity and magnetism in the needs of astronautics and energy will significantly improve the global ecology of the planet and reduce its impact on astronautics and planetary energy in general, since then it will not be necessary to carry out frequent launches of rocket carriers and burn raw materials and fuels on the planet.
  3. Cheap and fast world-wide space communications.
    The fuelless orbital space program makes it possible to dramatically reduce the cost and speed of all space communications and telecommunications systems.
  4. Control of weather and many natural planetary phenomena.
    Elimination and reduction of the power of many planetary spontaneous phenomena (see the above section of the article.)

Thanks to the useful use of a scanty part of the continuously renewed energy of the natural sources of electric power from near-Earth space from the Sun, it becomes possible and promising to create a new environmentally friendly fuelless energy and non-fuel orbital space. As a result, the ecology of the planet will significantly improve. On the basis of such space energy and free fuel space, a revolution will occur in all information transmission systems. They will become completely wireless and cheap to operate. Namely, there will be a sharp reduction in price and increase in their speed and throughput, since it is now telephone lines that impede progress in communication systems. The fuel-free space energy will prevent many natural anomalies and spontaneous phenomena and cataclysms. Thus, the new space energy and the fuelless space exploration open up new horizons for the progress of mankind.
