The invention relates to sulfur binder compositions and can be used for the production of sulfur concrete intended for protection against radiation, but also for lining of lining, equipment and building structures operated under the influence of ionizing radiation. The technical result is an increase in the average density and strength of the binder. The binder for the manufacture of radiation-protective building materials includes, in mass%: sulfur - 32.31 ... 41.32; barite with a specific surface of 250 m 2 / kg - 57.74 ... 67.21; Additive - a mixture of paraffin, soot and kerosene in a ratio of 1: 1: 1 by weight - 0.48 ... 0.96.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to sulfur binder compositions and can be used for the production of sulfur concrete intended for protection against radiation, but also for lining of lining, equipment and building structures operated under the influence of ionizing radiation.

The astringent is known (as №1662983, С 04 В 28/36), including, mass%:

A mixture of quartz powders with specific

surface 200 and 2000 cm 2 / g

In the ratio 3: 1 41 ... 53

Tetrabrom-p-cresol 2 ... 4

Sulfur Others

The disadvantage of this binder is the use of an expensive and potentially bromine-containing organic additive, tetrabromo-p-cresol, which is potentially hazardous to human health.

The sulfuric binding agent (RU 2153714 C1, published on 27.07.2000), containing the filler from ultrabasic rock, quartzite or serpentanite, used for the production of radiation-protective materials, is the closest in its technical essence and achieved result.

The purpose of the invention is to increase the average density and strength of the binder.

This object is achieved in that the binder including sulfur and filler as the filler comprises barytes with a specific surface of 250 m 2 / kg and a further additive - mixture of paraffin carbon and paraffin in the ratio 1: 1: 1 by weight with the following component, Wt%:

Sulfur 32, 31 ... 41, 32

The specified barite is 57, 74 ... 67, 21

This additive 0.48 ... 0.96

To prepare the binder used technical sulfur, which meets the requirements of GOST 127-76.

Use as barite filler, having an average density of 4300 kg / m3 and a specific surface area of 250 m 2 / kg, can increase as the average density and the strength of the binder.

The introduction of a binder additive consisting of non-toxic substances - paraffin, soot and kerosene in a ratio of 1: 1: 1 by weight, makes it possible to increase the mobility of the mixture, strength and protective properties of the binder from the action of neutron radiation.

The binder is prepared as follows. The molten sulfur at a temperature of 150 ... 160 ° С sulfur is injected with detached amounts of paraffin, soot and kerosene, the mixture is mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then, barite, heated to a temperature of 150-160 ° C, is introduced and the mixture is again thoroughly mixed, kept for 5 ... 10 minutes at a temperature of 150 ... 160 ° C and placed in heated metallic forms. After cooling for 30 ... 40 minutes, the molds are subjected to stripping.

The compositions of the proposed binder are listed in Table 1, and its properties are given in Table 2.

BENDING FOR MANUFACTURING RADIATION PROTECTIVE BUILDING MATERIALS

As can be seen from Table 2, the proposed binder has the rheological properties of casting and moving mixtures, a high average density and a higher (in 1.38 ... 1.45 times) compressive strength.

CLAIM

The binder for the manufacture of radiation-protection of building materials, including sulfur and filler, characterized in that it contains as filler barite with a specific surface of 250 m 2 / kg and a further additive - mixture of paraffin carbon and paraffin in the ratio 1: 1: 1 Mass at the following ratio of components, mass%:

Sulfur 32,31-41,32

This barite is 57.74-67.21

This additive 0.48-0.96
