The invention relates to the medical and nuclear industries, in particular for the manufacture of radiation-protective stones, walls, partitions and plaster intended to protect personnel from biological sources, X-ray and gamma radiation. Summary of the invention: Concrete mixture comprising cement, heavy fillers, plasticizing agent and water as the heavy filler contains iron ore based on magnetite with a specific surface 1600-2000 cm 2 / g and further barite filler with a specific surface 4500-5200 cm 2 / city The advantages claimed the concrete mix are high-density, high strength and radiation-protective performance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to the medical and nuclear industries, in particular for the manufacture of radiation-protective stones, walls, partitions and plaster intended to protect personnel from biological sources, X-ray and gamma radiation.

Known concrete mixture with the following composition,% by weight. [1]:

Cement - 7 - 15

Coarse aggregate (magnetite) - 44 - 74

Fine aggregate (magnetite) - 15 - 37

Plasticizing agents - 0.1 - 0.14

Water - The rest

This mixture is most similar to those described in the technical essence and achieved result.

The disadvantage of this solution is that the resulting material has a high enough strength and radiation-protective performance.

Is known and a composition comprising the following components, kg / m 3 of concrete [2]:

Cement - 395

Barite fillers - 3152

Water - 193

This composition has insufficiently high radiation shielding properties, has a high enough density and rather low strength.

The purpose of the present invention - increase in radiation-protective properties and mechanical properties.

This object is achieved in that the concrete mixture containing cement, heavy fillers, plasticizing agent and water as the heavy filler contains iron ore based on magnetite with a specific surface 1600-2000 cm 2 / g and further barite filler with a specific surface of 4500-5200 cm 2 / g in the following ratio, wt.%:

Cement - 11 - 15

Iron ore concentrate - 38 - 58

Barite filler - 25 - 39

Plasticizer - 0.1 - 0.2

Water - Others

Examples of the invention are presented in the Table. 1.

Properties proposed formulations are presented in Table. 2.

Test samples for determination of the compressive strength were conducted in accordance with GOST 10180-78. Bulk weight of the mixture is determined in accordance with GOST 12730.1-78. Tests radiation-protective properties were carried out at the Russian State Standard Verified gamma spectrometer (certificate N 470 / 6037-2).

From the data it follows that the concrete mixture according to the invention has a higher density, strength and radiation-protective performance.
