The invention is used for the production of paint coatings, for example auto-enamels, with a lower curing temperature. Coatings based on melamine alkyl enamels containing a phosphoric acid based drying accelerator are prepared by introducing into the enamel ML-12, ML-1110, ML-197 a drying accelerator based on phosphoric acids, oligomeric fluorine-containing alcohols-telomers of the general formula H (CF 2 CF 2 ) NCH 2 OH, where n = 3, taken in an amount of 1.5-2% by weight of melamine-alkyl enamels, applying enamels to the substrate, followed by curing at 50-60 ° C for 35 minutes. The obtained coatings have the best complex of physical and mechanical properties in terms of adhesion, film strength at impact, the best complex of protective and decorative properties in terms of moisture resistance, hydrophobicity, dust and mud retention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a process for the production of paint coatings based on melamine alkyl enamels containing acid accelerators based on phosphoric acids to reduce their curing temperature.

Typically, melamine-alkylated automotive lacquers and auto-enamels such as ML-12 (GOST-9754-76), ML-1110 (TU 6-10-2048-85), ML-197 (TU 6-10-2049-85) are cured at elevated temperatures: 110-140 ° C for 30-60 minutes.

When repairing, and when painting plastics, when correcting defects in coatings, the curing temperature should not exceed 85 o C. This is also true when painting large-sized products.

One of the ways to reduce the temperature or the duration of curing of melamine-alkyd varnish-and-paint materials is the use of various drying accelerators {Sorokin MF. Et al. "Chemistry and Technology of Film-Forming Substances", Moscow, Chemistry, 1984, 220 s}.

The greatest application was found in acid accelerators, for example, on the basis of phosphoric acids, which do not cause corrosion of steel {Author. St. 861374, cl. From 09 D 167/08, 1981, p. 4}.

Thus, a method is known for producing coatings based on melamine alkyl enamels by introducing an acidic accelerator in an enamel based on an equimolecular mixture of mono- and dibutylphosphoric acids (BFK-1n accelerator, TU 6-36-020962-64-90), applying enamels to a substrate followed by curing {Author. St. 1693009, cl. From 09 D 167/08, 1991, p. 4} (prototype).

A 20% solution of this accelerator in butanol or 50% solution in xylene is prepared, added in an amount of 1.5-4% with respect to the mass of the initial enamel, brought to the working viscosity, introduced into the enamel, applied to the substrate and cured for 40 Min at 75-85 ° C.

This and other known methods of curing coatings with the use of acidic accelerators can reduce the drying temperature of melamine-alkyl enamels to 60-85 ° C, however, as a rule, the physical and mechanical properties of coatings deteriorate.

The technical object of the invention is to improve the physical and mechanical properties of such coatings, the possibility of further reducing the temperature and the duration of heat curing while increasing moisture resistance, water repellency and reducing mud retention.

The aim is achieved by the addition of oligomeric fluorine-containing alcohols-telomers of the general formula H (CF 2 CF 2 ) nCH 2 OH, where n = 3, in the method for producing coatings based on melamine-alkyl enamels, carried out by introducing an acid accelerator into the enamel, , Taken in an amount of 1.5-2% of the mass of the enamels. The composition is applied to a substrate, followed by curing at 50-60 ° C for 35 minutes.

Melamine-alkyl enamels contain in their composition pentaphthalic and glyptal alkyd oligomers modified with vegetable oils or synthetic fatty acids and butanolized melamine-formaldehyde products of grades ML-12 (GOST-9754-76), ML-1110 (TU 6-10-2048-85), ML -197 (TU 6-10-2049-85).

Enamels: ML-12, ML-197 and ML-1110 are a solution of melamine-formaldehyde resin and alkyd resin in heavy (for ML-12) or in a composite organic solvent (mixture of xylene: ethyl cellosolve: butyl acetate) with the addition of pigments and fillers at a certain ratio Components (see Goldberg, MM, Raw materials and semi-products for paint and varnish materials, Reference Guide, Moscow, Chemistry, 1978, p.134-139; Goldberg, MM Materials for Paint Coatings, Moscow, Chemistry, 1972, p.101 -102).

The perfluoroalcohol is pre-dissolved in an organic solvent (acetone, solvent 646, etc.) used to bring the paint composition to the working viscosity when applied to a substrate. The solution is introduced in an appropriate amount into the enamel, into which an accelerator, for example BFK-1H, has been previously introduced in an appropriate amount.

The system is brought to the working viscosity and applied to the substrate. Limit amounts of perfluoroalcohol are determined by experiment. The coatings obtained in this way are cured at 50-60 ° C for 35 minutes. For comparative tests, samples of steel with dimensions of 15x70x0.8 mm were used. Coating systems were manufactured using the technology of car coloring. Samples were phosphated using phosphatizing concentrate KF-12 (GOST 9.402-80), primed with electrophoretic cataphoretic primer V-EP-0101 (TU 2312-128-0501190-96), primed with intermediate primer EP-0228 (TU 6-10-1943- 84) - 2 layers, polished the top layer and applied enamels: МЛ-12 (GOST 0754), МЛ-1110 (GOST 20481) or МЛ-197 (GOST 23640),

1) 2 layers without drying accelerator (initial enamel);

2) with a drying accelerator BFK-1N (TU 6-36-0209562-64-90) ("Prototype");

3) with the addition of perfluoroalcohol (according to the invention).

Samples with enamel coatings without a drying accelerator were cured in the regimes recommended by GOSTs. Samples with the BFK-1n drying accelerator were cured at 75-85 ° C for 40 min, and with the BFK-1H drying accelerator and perfluoric alcohol finishing at 50-60 ° C for 35 min.

The appearance of all samples is characterized by a smooth, smooth surface, without pockmarks, wrinkles, exfoliation and foreign inclusions. Comparative properties of coatings are given in the table.

Similar results are obtained with the use of enamel grades ML-1110 and ML-197 ( table ).

Thus, the coatings obtained according to the invention have the best complex of protective and decorative properties in terms of moisture resistance, hydrophobicity, dust and dirt retention, and the physical and mechanical properties of the coatings (adhesion, elasticity, hardness) when cured under conditions of reduced temperature and duration .
