The invention relates to the field of wind energy, in particular to the structures of a carousel-type wind drive. The technical result consists in increasing the unit capacity of the installation, expanding the capabilities of the drive, reducing the excited vibrations. The wind drive includes a fixed axis and a wind wheel. The wind wheel is made in the form of a carousel containing a vertical axis and a horizontal circular metal structure mounted on the axis, equipped with vertical, oriented planes along the radii, with blades containing elastic sails movably suspended on rigid sail frames to ensure the adjustment of the sail blades from maximum to zero.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to the field of wind power, in particular to the wind turbine design.
Known is a wind actuator comprising a fixed axis and a wind wheel (see, for example, RU 2105190 C1, class F 03 D 3/06, 20.02.1998, 3 seconds), taken as a set of essential characteristics for the closest analogue of the invention (prototype).
The disadvantages of the well-known drive are low power and limited operation at low wind speeds.
The technical result consists in increasing the unit capacity of the installation, expanding the capabilities of the drive, reducing the excited vibrations.
The wind actuator includes a fixed axis and a wind wheel, the wind wheel being in the form of a carousel containing a vertical axis and a horizontal circular metal structure mounted on the axis provided with vertical, oriented planes along the radii with vanes containing elastic sails movably suspended on rigid sail frames to provide adjustment of the sails of the blades From the maximum to zero.
Circular metalwork contains floats equipped with horizontal rudders to ensure horizontal stability of the wind wheel while working above the water surface.

The wind drive includes a fixed vertical axis 1 and a carousel type 2 wind wheel. The wind wheel 2 comprises a supporting circular structure 3 with vertical blades, a structure that is soft sails 4 movably suspended on sail frames 5. The wind wheel 2 rests circumferentially on floats 6 with controlled hydrofoils 7, supporting the wind wheel 2 in a horizontal working position.
The rotation of the wind wheel 2 is due to the fact that the incoming wind flow acts on only a part of the blades of one, leeward side of the wind wheel 2, whose sails 4 are raised while the sails 4 of the blades of the opposite side of the wind wheel 2 protruding against the wind are lowered and do not interfere Rotation.
The adjustable height of the sails 4, depending on the strength of the wind at each moment, is designed to maintain the specified speed. Determine the height of the rise, as well as control the rhythm of the lifting and lowering of the sails 4 will be automatic, receiving continuous information about the speed and direction of the wind and giving commands to the mechanism of lifting-descent.
The automatics will also manage the underwater wings 7 supporting the wind wheel 2 in a horizontal position, thus compensating for the possible skewing of the structure due to unilateral wind action.
From all of the above, it follows that the carrousel type 2 wind wheel will effectively operate over a wide range of wind speeds. With a weak wind, the sails 4 rise to their maximum height, and in case of a hurricane, perhaps only 5-10%. For exceptional cases, it should be possible to anchor the entire structure.
It is assumed that one turn of a wind wheel with a diameter of hundreds of meters will occur in 7-10 minutes, and this time is enough for one cycle of "lifting - work - descent" of sails.
The carousel principle can have several embodiments. So on land carousel will rely on rollers running on rails. The blades can be stiff, deflected in a vertical or horizontal plane, or vanes. It is possible to use fixed blades with one-sided purging. Additional opportunities offer a comfortable terrain or a stable wind rose, etc.
The proposed carousel windmill is a rather complex and material-intensive construction, however, inferior to traditional hydroelectric stations. And environmental friendliness, unpretentiousness and significant single capacity of carousel wind farms can ensure their wide application, especially in regions with moderate winds.
Regional complexes of multiple carousel aggregates combined into one system, interlocked with solar panels, are the energy of the near future.
CLAIM
1.
