INVENTION
Russian Federation Patent RU2008513
Wind power stations "Novgorod"
Name of the inventor: Pikul Vadim
The name of the patentee: Pikul Vadim
Address for correspondence:
Starting date of the patent: 1990.08.14
Use: wind energy, namely wind power station, located in the coastal zone of the seas, oceans and large lakes and reservoirs. Summary of the Invention: The upper surface of the pontoon carrying a rotor and having the ability to move along the column is flat and horizontal, and the lower ends of the rotor wheels create a plane of the slot, and the lateral surface of the pontoon convex-concave and the upper plane of the disc forms a breakwater. When hurricane winds incident on the pontoon storm surges occur with disc breakwater and converted on the upper surface of the pontoon in a shallow layer that interacts with the bottom of the wheels, brakes the rotation of the rotor and thus reduces the dynamic loads in the transmission.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used to produce electrical energy in various wind conditions.
Known wind power station [1] with a vertical-axis rotor, aerodynamic blades and screen his electric generator has a limited field of application, a complex system of orientation of the blades and lower the overall efficiency.
These drawbacks are eliminated in another known stations [2], the rotor of which is in the form of two contacting spur wheels located on vertical axes fixed to a hollow pontoon provided with an aerodynamic fairing. Characterized the station large dynamic loads while maintaining constant the speed of the wheels, resulting in reduced reliability.
The aim of the invention is to improve reliability by reducing the dynamic loads.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the station; FIG. 2 - A-A sectional view in FIG. 1.
Wind power station comprising a rotor, made in the form of two contacting each other spur wheel 1, hollow pontoon 2, 3 carrying the vertical axis of said aerodynamic fairing and wheel 4. The station also includes a central column 5, which is fastened to the bottom 6 of the reservoir, and transmission 7. While the power generator at the upper end of the column, it is kinematically connected with one of the wheels by means of cylindrical gear 8 mounted coaxially on the stem of the column. The upper surface 9 is flat and horizontal pontoon and wheel have a height h, which is greater than the height h 1 gear. Installed wheel so that the gap formed between the lower ends of the said plane and h 1. Furthermore, the lateral surface of the pontoon 10 formed convex-concave in conjunction with the horizontal plane creates breakwater disk 11. Diameter d is less than the diametrical size of the last D pontoon convex surface and more than twice the radius R of the rotor. The cavity has a pontoon vodoballastnaya system 12.
WORK STATION AS FOLLOWS
At moderate winds pontoon 2 via ballast system 12 is immersed in such a way that the wheels 1 is located over the waters of the pool and the water do not apply. Wheels with the wind currents meet their external sides and from the aerodynamic fairing 4. Rotating rotor drives a generator 7 through the gear 8 and the last transmission.
When the wind speed is close to hurricane and will be a danger of excessive loads in the dynamic transmission generator, a pontoon is raised by means of the ballast system as shown in FIG. 1.
13 Surface waves that accompany a hurricane and meet breakwater disc 11, destroyed and covered with a flat surface of the pontoon shallow layer. The kinetic energy of the layer is small, but the water depth is sufficient to contact at the lower part of the wheel with the rotor brake fluid up to operating speed.

CLAIM
1. Wind power plant comprising a rotor, made in the form of two contacting spur wheels located on vertical axes fixed to a hollow pontoon provided with an aerodynamic fairing and installed to be movable along a central column attached to the bottom of the reservoir, and an electric generator located in the upper of the column and is kinematically connected with one of the wheels by means of a cylindrical pinion mounted coaxially on the column, characterized in that, to improve the reliability by reducing the dynamic loads, the upper surface of the pontoon is designed as a horizontal plane and the wheels have a height greater than the height of the gears, and installed to form a gap between the lower ends of the pontoon and the plane.
2. Station according to claim. 1, characterized in that the lateral surface of the pontoon made concave-convex and forms with a horizontal plane disc breakwater diameter smaller than the diameter of the pontoon and greater than twice the radius of the rotor.
