The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, namely to methods for recovering precious metals, in particular platinum from deactivated catalysts.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: The alumina supported platinum catalysts are treated with an alkali solution in an autoclave with addition of an additive from a solution of formaldehyde, isopropyl alcohol and a solution of aluminum nitrate, taken in an equal proportion in an amount of 0.1-1.0% by weight of the catalyst. The yield of platinum is up to 99.8% . The method allows to reduce losses of platinum with a solution.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, namely, to methods for recovering noble metals, in particular platinum from deactivated catalysts.

A method for extracting platinum from alumoplatinum catalysts used in the processing of petroleum is known, by chemical treatment with an alkali solution in an autoclave. ( Metallurgy of precious metals. -M .: Metallurgy, edited by LV Chernyaeva, 1987, pp. 424 - 426 ).

The transfer of platinum to the solution according to the known method is 40-60 g per ton of catalyst at a concentration in the solution of 0.001-0.003 g / l .

The technical result of the proposed method is to reduce the losses of platinum with a solution of deactivated alumoplatinum catalysts by a factor of 10-20.

In order to achieve this technical result in the process for recovering platinum from deactivated alumoplatinum catalysts by chemical treatment with an alkali solution in an autoclave according to the invention, the chemical treatment of deactivated alumoplatinum catalysts is carried out by adding an additive from a solution of formaldehyde, isopropyl alcohol and aluminum nitrate solution taken in an equal ratio in The amount of 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of the catalyst.

THE INVENTION EXPLANES IN THE FOLLOWING EXAMPLES

Example 1
100 g of a platinum catalyst supported on alumina with a platinum content of 0.3% was dissolved in an autoclave under the action of a 42% alkali solution at an alkali consumption of 2.5: 1 + Na 2 O: Al 2 O 3 . The pulp was diluted with water to 2.5 liters , the platinum was cemented with aluminum powder and the solid residue was filtered off. The losses of platinum with solution exceeded 2.5% . In a parallel sample of 100 g of a catalyst of the same composition, an additive containing 37 to 42% formaldehyde solution in water, isopropyl alcohol and a 10% aqueous solution of aluminum nitrate in a ratio of 1: 1: 1 was added in an amount of 0.1% By weight of the catalyst. The resulting platinum concentrate contained 6.27% platinum, the solution contained less than detectable platinum (less than 0.001 g / l ), i.e. Losses were less than 1% . Evaporation of the solution showed that the loss of platinum is less than 0.2% .

Example 2
Deactivated catalyst AP-56 in an amount of 40 g was dissolved in an autoclave at an alkali consumption of Na 2 O: Al 2 O 3 = 1.5: 1 . The amount of the additive was 0.4% of the weight of the catalyst in the same proportion of the additive components as in Example 1 . After the separation of the platinum concentrate from the solution, the latter was evaporated to dryness and the platinum content was determined therein. It was 3.5 g / t , which indicates the extraction of platinum in the concentrate 99.8% .

Example 3
Deactivated aluminoplatin catalysts were autoclaved for alkali consumption, corresponding to Na 2 O: Al 2 O 3 = 1.7: 1 . The additive was 1.0% by weight of the catalyst. Platinum is isolated in an amount of 99.8% in the composition of the concentrate. In a parallel sample without the addition of an additive, the extraction of platinum into the concentrate was 98.1% .

CLAIM
