The invention relates to apparatus for generating oxygen thermochemical process and intended to ensure the recovery and gas composition required for respiration in isolated areas, in particular spacecraft and stations, submarines, mines. The apparatus for producing oxygen with a housing placed therein and a solid oxygen source is provided with a heater and the power source, a cooling system, and a filter control unit. The solid oxygen source and a heater installed in a replaceable cartridge, at one end of which is placed an electrical connector, the mating part of which is located in the housing and at the opposite end a replaceable filter cartridge installed. The cooling system may be provided with a fan, and a cassette installed in the housing with the annular gap. The fan may be adapted to the speed control unit. The technical result is to increase the reliability and safety of the device.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to apparatus for generating oxygen thermochemical process and intended to ensure the recovery and gas composition required for respiration in isolated areas, in particular spacecraft and stations, submarines, mines.

The object of the invention is to improve convenience in operation of the device for producing oxygen.

This object is achieved by a device for the production of oxygen, comprising a housing having housed therein a solid oxygen source and the heater and provided with a source of electricity, cooling system, filter and control unit, a solid oxygen source and a heater installed in a removable cartridge on one end of which posted electrical connector mating part of which is located in the housing, and the filter is mounted on the opposite end. Moreover, the cooling system may be provided with a fan, and a cassette installed in the housing with the annular gap. The fan may be adapted to the speed control unit.

The technical result is to increase the reliability and safety of the device.

Device for oxygen includes a housing 1 installed therein runner 2 replaceable cartridge 3 which has a solid oxygen source 4 comprising, for example, lithium perchlorate, and a heater 5. The heater 5 is connected to the electric connector 6 arranged at the end of a replaceable cartridge 3. at the opposite end of the interchangeable cassette 3 is placed a filter 7. On one of the flanges of the housing 1 is situated the fan unit 9 to a fan (not shown); at the inlet to the fan unit 9, a filter 10, such as a cloth. Device operates as follows

During this time, in a removable cassette heater 6 heats 3 and begins the process of decomposition of solid oxygen source with release of gaseous oxygen. Fan unit 9 circulates air through the gap 14, mixing it with the release oxygen and cooling air coming out of the device a mixture suitable for respiration. The process of separating oxygen lasts about 20 minutes; a removable cassette provides a selection of about 600 liters of oxygen. Due to the simplicity of installing a replaceable cartridge unit ready to work it takes a little time is enough. If replacement is necessary, for example, the non-working fan module and fan speed control unit takes less than 20 minutes. This greatly increases the ease of operation of the entire device.

  1. The apparatus for producing oxygen, comprising a housing with placed in it a solid oxygen source and the heater power source, a cooling system, a filter and a control unit, wherein the solid oxygen source and a heater installed in a replaceable cartridge, at one end of which is placed an electrical connector, mating part of which is located in the housing and at the opposite end a replaceable filter cartridge installed.
  2. The apparatus for producing oxygen according to claim 1, characterized in that the cooling system is made with a fan, a replaceable cartridge is installed in the housing with the annular gap.
  3. The apparatus for producing oxygen according to claim 2, characterized in that the fan is adapted to the speed control unit.
