INVENTION
Russian Federation Patent RU2292699
METHOD PRESOWING SEEDS BEET
Name of the inventor: Kunavin Gennady Andreyevich (RU); Evgeny Evdokimov
The name of the patentee: Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Tyumen State Agricultural Academy"
Address for correspondence: 625003, Tyumen, st. Republic 7 FSEIHPE "Tyumen State Agricultural Academy", the head of the patent department, SV Zabavin
Starting date of the patent: 2005.05.14
The invention relates to the field of agriculture. The method consists in the fact that the seeds before sowing soak in 0.15-0.20% zoogumina aqueous solution for 12-18 hours. Seeds are then dried and sown. The use of the invention will improve the quality of seeds sown, to stimulate the growth and development of plants, which increases productivity but also reduce the amount of nitrates.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to agriculture, namely to methods for pre-processing of beet seeds.
A method is known of processing of sugar beet seeds (RU, Patent 2161392, 2001), wherein seeds are soaked for 12-18 hours in an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution with a concentration of 0.01-1.0% and the flow rate of the working solution 3 liters per 1 kg of seeds .
The closest analog of the claimed method can be considered a method for processing vegetable seeds, tomato seeds whereby soak for 24 hours in the sodium humate solution ivin hydrogen peroxide at a ratio of seed weight to a solution of 1: 2 (GA Kunavin Application growth regulators in growing tomatoes // Siberian bulletin of agricultural science -. 1993. - №4 -. S.3-7).
The disadvantages of the known method is low efficiency in speeding up the germination of seeds and the reduction of nitrite.
The technical problem solved by the invention is to provide a method for pre-processing of beet seed, providing improved seed germination, accelerated germination, increase productivity and reduction of nitrates.
The technical result obtained in the implementation of the claimed method, is to improve the efficiency of pre-treatment of seeds by soaking them in a solution of growth stimulants.
To achieve the specified technical result is proposed to use a way to pre-treatment of seeds, including seeds soak for 12-18 hours in a solution of growth stimulants, and as a stimulant used 0.15-0.20% aqueous solution zoogumina. Zoogumin manufactured by soaking 250 g zoogumusa (9292-001-00493391-94 TU) in 1 liter of a 5% solution of hydrogen peroxide for 48 hours at a temperature of 18-20 ° C, followed by filtration. To 1 liter add 75 g of urea.
A method of treating beet seeds is as follows: Beet seed is soaked in a solution of 0.05-0.25% zoogumina for 12-18 hours, dried and sown in the soil.
Tables 1-3 show the results of experiments on the treatment of seeds with different concentrations of the solution, with different exposures, data on productivity.
Thus, when using the proposed method for pre-processing of beet seed germination energy increases and is 82-83%, laboratory germination - 93-94% field germination - 78-79%, the duration of the period from sowing to germination is reduced and is 9 days. The yield increased to 35.3 t / ha, root crops reaches the weight of 315 grams, the nitrate content is reduced to 116 mg / kg wet weight.
