Date of commencement of the patent: 1999.03.15

The method includes treating the cotton seeds before sowing with a 0.05% aqueous solution of para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA). In this case, zeolite-containing clays-irlites are introduced into the hot solution of PABA in a ratio of 2:10. When sprouting occurs, spray the PABK crops at the same concentration. Such technology will allow to accelerate ripening and increase the yield of cotton.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

(EN) The invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to plant growing, and can find application in the cultivation of cotton in the zone of unstable temperature regime (Northern Caucasus).

A method is known for cultivating cotton, in which the seeds are soaked for a long time (8-10 hours) before sowing and are sown at an average daily temperature of 12-14 o C / Textbook of Higher Educational Institutions "Technological Cultures" edited by Ya. Gubanova, Agropromizdat. M., 1986, p. 202 /.

In the known method, the sown seeds germinate unfavorably in connection with changes in spring temperatures, especially in the conditions of the North Caucasus, where the night temperature falls to +5 +8 o C during this period, which adversely affects the development of cotton plants.

A method for cultivating cotton is known, in which presowing treatment of PABA / paraaminobenzoic acid is carried out at a concentration of 0.05% aqueous solution for 24 hours / "Chemical mutagens and para-aminobenzoic acid in increasing crop yields" edited by I.A. Rapoport. Moscow: Nauka, 1989, p. 172-173).

And the prototype method under the influence of PABC increases the intensity of photosynthesis, yield, vit-resistance, the rate of opening of the boxes. However, in the period of high soil and abundance of rains in the spring, the seeds lose some of the valuable stimulating solution and thereby reduce the efficiency of the treatment. Therefore, cotton seedlings are unstable to unfavorable factors, especially in the North Caucasus region, where the sum of positive temperatures in the most favorable zone is 3800 ° .

For the ripening of cotton, an order of 4000 ° C is required. The missing 200 ° is increased by presowing treatment and accelerating the maturation process. Consequently, the applied treatments are slightly effective, the yield and maturation periods are reduced due to the lack of a sum of effective temperatures.

The technical result of the proposed invention is the acceleration of ripening and the increase in yield.

The technical solution of the invention consists in that, in contrast to the known methods, treating zeolite in an aqueous solution of PABA at a temperature of 70 ° -80 ° C., zeolite-containing clay-irlites are introduced in a ratio of 2:10, and when sprouting occurs, spray crops at the same concentration / 0.05% / PABA.

The method is carried out as follows.

THE METHOD IS PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

1 - 2 days before inoculation in hot water (70 - 80 ° C), dissolve the PABA powder in a concentration of 0.05% / 0.5 teaspoon per 1 liter of water. Paraaminobenzoic acid / vitamin H from group B refers to amino acids, is a part of folic acid, participates in the synthesis of purines / dissolves at a temperature of 60 - 80 o C. At lower temperatures, this acid dissolves very weakly and precipitates. In the hot solution, crushed irilit is added in a ratio of 2: 10, i.e. 2 kg per 10 liters of solution. Zeolite-containing clays-irlites / Alagirskoye deposit of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania / contain silicon, iron, aluminum, magnesium, potassium, calcium, molybdenum, zinc, vanadium and other elements. Possessing high heat capacity (coefficient 0.34) and low water yield (3.5%), the iltites retain moisture and heat for a long time not only when the seed is exposed (25-30 hours), but also when sown in the soil. Being sorbents of microelements and PABC, the irlite-clay particles serve as adhesives, providing heat and preservation of the seeds in the soil.

Having obtained nutrients in this way, cotton seeds develop more rapidly, since PABC is a stimulant of growth, and the irilitas increase the resistance of seedlings and unfavorable factors, providing the seedbed with nutrients.

When emergence occurs, spray crops of the same concentration (0.05%) at the rate of 100 g of PABA for 200 liters of water (hectare rate).

Without the use of irilites in excess of soil moisture (especially in the spring), the PABC weakly penetrates into the interior of the seed and a significant part of the solution of this acid is lost. Therefore, clayey deposits are an integral part of presowing seed treatment. With this method, sowing is carried out by wide rows / 90 cm of row spacing / in order to accumulate the maximum amount of heat and good illumination of seedlings and plants.

Example 1. Before inoculation, 0.05% PABK / 0.5 teaspoon per 1 liter solution was prepared. water/. It was dissolved in hot water at a temperature of 70-80 ° C. 2 kg of irilites were added to the hot solution. The mixture was stirred well. Then the hectare norm of the seeds (40 kg) was mixed with a warm solution and left for 25 to 30 hours. After drying, the seeds were sown in a field with a row spacing of 90 cm along the predecessor of leguminous grasses / clover, alfalfa /.

EXAMPLE 2 In hot water (70 ° C.), PABA powder was diluted at 0.05% concentration, as in the first example. The solution was injected with irites in a ratio of 2:10. In a mixed solution, seeds were enveloped, which after 2 days were sown in the field (May 6).

The results of the experiments are tabulated.

The data of the table indicate that the proposed mixture of PABA with iriltites provides for accelerating the ripening of cotton for 23 days, while increasing the yield of raw cotton by 9.8 c / ha.
