DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to the aqueous dispersion adhesive, which is a dispersion copolymer comprising a flame retardant agent based on compounds of boron or aluminum.
The substance which enhances the adhesion of the surface layer, with such an adhesive is known from European Patent EP-B-0109663, which describes a flame podoboyny layer / Untertapete / rigid polystyrene foam, which on at least one of its surfaces a coating to improve adhesion between podoboynym layer and combustible wallpaper. The coating contains the additive and the adhesive poluognestoykuyu copolymer or terpolymer having predominantly vinyl acetate units. Poluognestoykaya supplement consists of non-combustible inorganic compounds of aluminum and boron. The weight ratio of adhesive to poluognestoykoy additive is from 1: 3 to 1: 8. The coating has a weight per unit area of 100-400 g / m 2, in particular 200-300 g / m 2 in a dry state. Poluognestoykaya additive is a mixture of aluminum hydroxide with zinc borate in a weight ratio of from 1: 1 to 7: 1. in particular from 2: 1 to 5: 1. The adhesive and may be a terpolymer having predominantly vinyl acetate and ethylene and vinyl chloride and units.
Such hard layers of polystyrene are described for example in European Patent EP-A-0036156 and in DE U-7931745.
The plates or films for cladding walls made of rigid polystyrene foam, and are generally known as so-called podoboynyh layers for cladding before applying wallpaper. Along with the plates in a folded (corrugated) form, and unfolded or use of film rolls. With this kind of plates or films can coat, for example, cracks in the walls, known as high thermal insulation and to prevent condensation.
From European Patent EP-A-0036156 and known in the coatings of wallpaper pasting polystyrene application of adhesive, which adhesive comprises a known component and optionally 20-80 wt.% Based on the content of an adhesive, poluognestoykogo means. Suitable poluognestoykimi agents are compounds based on ammonium phosphate and ammonium sulfamate.
DE-B-7931745 and described technical solution consists in that no adhesive, and supported on podoboyny layer of rigid expanded polystyrene, which increases the adhesion of the surface layer be provided with flame retardant. Equipped with wallpaper paste and then due to this adhesion promoter layer associated with podoboynym layer. According to this publication, the plates during manufacture coated with an aqueous dispersion of dispersion adhesives filled and then dried in the apparatus with the heated channel.
Increases adhesion layer promotes adhesion between podoboynym layer and equipped with wallpaper paste. Boost the adhesion of the surface layer podoboynogo layer just poluognestoykuyu may contain an additive, but on the kind and amount of the flame retardant, and as a way of drawing no data.
From DE-A-2244775 furthermore known to use adhesive compositions based on a copolymer emulsion of vinyl acetate with ethylene in the amplification of decks that contain a suitable filler to reduce flammability as alumina trihydrate.
Known from the German patent 0109663 in-adhesive coating has the disadvantage that it is only used as an adhesion promoter to the surface layer of rigid polystyrene foams for internal applications and after storage for several weeks, it can no longer be recycled.
Proceeding from this prior art, therefore, the task of dispersion adhesive design, which is capable of processing more than one month and provide good properties of adhesion to a variety of materials with respect to the corresponding basis, in which the materials are glued together, at the same time low flammability laminate of foundations and pasted material.
This object is achieved by the dispersion adhesive according to the invention comprises an additive which promotes recycling and a thickening agent in an amount up to 0.8 wt.% Flame retardant additive in an amount up to 75 wt.% Of wetting agent and an additive in an amount up to 0.8 wt.%, each time, based on the total weight of the dispersion adhesive. The weight data refer to pure substances in the dispersion adhesive, without a solvent or dispersant.
Dispersion adhesive is used, among other things, as a foamable adhesive to rigid foam of polystyrene films, plates and shaped articles of polystyrene foam. Polystyrene, for example, is in the form of films or web-shaped rectangular plates. Such plates are made of extruded rigid polystyrene foam or of particles and methods of making such films or plates, respectively, the materials themselves are known from the cited in EP-A-0036156 literature.
Compared with known from European Patent EP-B-0109663, the adhesion-enhancing agent, an inventive dispersion adhesive has a high proportion of wetting agent comprises a suspending agent and the amount of thickening agent and contributes significantly improved processing. Thus taking as a thickener 33% pure material, while in the dispersion adhesive according to EP-B-0109663 the European patent thickening agent is used in the form of a 3% aqueous solution.
Due to the positive interaction of these three components of the initial adhesive strength and processability of the dispersion adhesive is considerably increased and retained within such an additional period of time, such as several months.
According to the invention, based on the copolymer dispersion may comprise a copolymer or terpolymer having predominantly vinyl acetate units, and the addition of a thickening agent and facilitating the processing of up to 0.8 wt. % Of a suspending agent and additive may be up to 0.3 wt. %. Next, the dispersion is per se based on copolymer of acrylic acid ester and styrene.
In one embodiment of the invention 100 wt.% Of an aqueous adhesive dispersion comprising 15-50 wt.%, In particular 20-30 wt.%, Based on the dispersion copolymer or terpolymer, 40-75 wt.% Flame retardant and 5-20 the weight. % Of additives thickening agent, a wetting agent, a suspending agent, preservative, antifoam, drying retarder, means for reducing the film formation and the water temperature.
The weight ratio of aqueous copolymer dispersions or terpolymer to a flame retardant is from 1: 5 to a value of less than 1: 0.8, in particular from 1: 2.9 to 1: 2, and the adhesive coating has a weight per unit area of 300-800 g / m2 / wet /.
In another embodiment of the invention 100 wt.% Aqueous dispersion adhesive contains 10-50 wt.%, In particular 20 wt.%, Based on the dispersion copolymer, 30-62 wt.% Flame retardant and 15-21 wt.% Of thickening additives agent, wetting agent, suspending agent, dispersant, preservative, antifoam, and water.
The weight ratio of aqueous copolymer dispersions based flame retardant to reach from 0.16: 1 to 1.67: 1, and applying an adhesive layer is carried out until a weight per unit area of 300-800 g / m 2 / wet /.
To determine the weight ratio, the proportion in percent by weight copolymer or terpolymer dispersion, respectively, based on the aqueous dispersion of the copolymer and a flame retardant are correlated to each other by the weight limits specified area.
Thicken and promoting recycling agent is preferably a methyl or hydroxyethyl cellulose.
Dispersion adhesive includes a copolymer or terpolymer having predominantly vinyl acetate units, in particular used a terpolymer of vinyl acetate with ethylene and vinyl chloride / e.g., Vinnapas LT 500, manufacturer: Wacker-Chemis company, Germany / which is used in the form of an aqueous 50 wt. % Dispersion. Terpolymer / terpolymer / dispersion adhesive and may be a terpolymer of vinyl acetate of, ethylene and vinyl chloride units, such as Respectively
[Manufacturer: Hoechst AG]. Flame retardant agent consists of non-combustible inorganic compound based on boron or aluminum and aluminum which are known in the art. It is referred to these compounds, among others, boric acid or a salt thereof and aluminum hydroxide. Preferably, an aluminum hydroxide alone as a flame retardant in an amount of 60 wt.
%, Based on the total weight of the dispersion adhesive. However, flame retardant, and may include a mixture of aluminum hydroxide with zinc borate in a weight ratio of from 3: 1 to 8: 1.
As already mentioned in the European Patent EP-B-0109663 on this weight ratio between aluminum hydroxide and zinc borate, these flame retardants, when compared with other flame retardants, secrete significantly less flue gases and cause distinctly reduced flammability laminate of polystyrene and foundations. Moreover, and unexpectedly improves enhances the adhesion effect of the adhesive raw material, which can not be foreseen. Dispersion adhesive according to experiments on combustion reaches classification B1 [flammability] in accordance with DIN 4102.
Using the dispersion adhesive, which is known as a universal adhesive can be bonded not only foams with an appropriate base, but, in addition, and fiberglass wallpapers and fabrics based wallpaper, textiles, pulp, wallpaper polyester, plates of gypsum fiber , chipboard, tiles, cement boards, gypsum board, wood or cork. Thus only essential that it be bonded of the planes has a porous or absorbent for fluids, especially water.
Application of the dispersion adhesive is performed, in general, on the basis of its high viscosity, using a trowel or using the squeegee. Depending on the circumstances, and can use other methods of application, such as applying by rolling, injection molding method or without pressure. The amount of coating applied is adjusted so that the surface layer of the unit weight was 300-800 g / m 2 when wet.
The individual components of the substrate are in an aqueous dispersion which additionally to add minor amounts of facilitating processing or correspondingly thickening agents such as methyl- and hydroxyethylcellulose, and a dispersion stabilizing and film-forming aids. For example, add another wetting agent, such as sodium polyphosphate; a suspending agent such as ammonium polyacrylate; preservative; defoamer; wetting agent and a dispersant as polyacrylic acid ammonium salt; and reducing the temperature of the film-forming agent as a simple dietilglikolmonobutilovogo acetate ester; and drying retarder as 2- / 2-butoxyethoxy / ethanol; appropriately in a weight amount of 3.0-4.0 wt.%, based on the total weight of the dispersion.
