DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to the production of artificial stones used for the manufacture of decorative and artistic items.
Artificial amber is known , containing, Rosin 25; Turpentine 25; Shellack 50 (Broderson GG Handbook of the handicraftsman, M. Literary and editorial agency "Glagol", 1992, pp. 105-106 ). Such material contains a large amount of a scarce and expensive component of shellac, which is a wax-like substance released by tropical insects from the family of varnish chervets.
The technical result of the invention is to reduce the cost of artificial amber .
It is achieved by the fact that in the composition of artificial amber containing rosin and turpentine, rubber is additionally introduced, with the following ratio of components, wt. Rosin 60-70; Turpentine 15-20; Rubber 15-20 .
The table lists the compositions of artificial amber .
Crushed rubber is poured with turpentine, allowed to swell and begin to dissolve. Rubber is dissolved in turpentine when heated completely or partially, if imitation of veins in amber is required.
Rosin is melted and poured into it a solution of rubber in turpentine with stirring and heating until a homogeneous mass is obtained. From the melt of the obtained mass is molded by pressing or casting the products, which are cooled to complete solidification.
The resulting amber is brown in color with dark veins, resistant to water.
