Date of commencement of the patent:
The method for obtaining articles from powdered amber to obtain the quality of the products is that the supply of amber to the working surface of the walls of the mold is carried out by means of a jet of compressed inert gas, for example nitrogen.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to the production of artistic and decorative and technical articles from powdered amber, for example amber flour, and can be used for the manufacture of large-sized products with developed surfaces, such as for example stained-glass windows, panels, decorative panels, facing tiles, furniture elements, P.
A method is known for obtaining jewelry, artistic and decorative and technical articles from a powder of an amber composition containing amber flour and a phenonin 28 modifier including feeding it under pressure to the working surface of the mold walls at a temperature of 180-220 ° C, forming the article at this temperature And subsequent cooling (Aut.S. 1479482, C 09 F 1/04, published on May 15, 1989, BI 18) .
A significant drawback of this method is that it is limited to the production of relatively small items such as beads, bracelet plates, brooches, etc., and can not practically be used to produce thin-walled large-sized products with a developed surface, as mentioned above; Requires for this use of press equipment of high power, which sharply complicates and increases the cost of production.
The task for solving the proposed technical solution is to expand the technological capabilities of powdery amber compositions, the range of amber products, and to simplify and reduce the cost of their production.
To solve the problem, it is proposed to supply amber to the working surface of the walls of the mold by means of a jet of compressed inert gas, for example nitrogen, having a temperature of 180-220 ° C.
The proposed technical solution is explained by a drawing, which schematically shows one of the possible design options of the device, by means of which this method can be realized.
The following designations are adopted in the drawing:
1 - base;
2 - electromagnetic element (for example, heating element);
3 - inert gas preheating chamber;
4 - gas distribution grid made of porous material;
5 - powder feeder;
6 - particles of amber powder;
7 - cover;
8 - a hose of submission of a gas-powder mixture;
9 - pneumatic gun;
10 - parabolic reflectors;
11 - quartz lamps (such as NIK - 200);
12 - light-thermal rays;
13 - slit nozzle;
14 - the start button;
15 - torch of particles of softened powder;
16 - working surface of the mold wall.
The method is carried out as follows.
With the lid 7 open, on which the hose 8 is fixed, a portion of the amber powder (flour) 6 is sent to the working space of the powder feeder 5.
Then, the lid 7 is closed, the electric heating elements 2 and the quartz lamps 11 are turned on, after which a compressed inert gas is fed into the working cavity of the chamber 3.
With the help of electric heating elements, the gas is heated to a temperature of 180-220 ° C and through the holes in the porous gas distribution grid 4 is fed into the working space of the powder feeder 5 with the powder 6 filled with it.
The gas stream captures the powder particles, heats them, and feeds them through the hose 8 to the pneumatic gun 9.
By pressing the button 14, the gas powder mixture is directed to the slot sprayer 13, from where it enters the light-heat ray stream 12 coming from the parabolic reflectors 10.
The jet 15 of amber particles, formed at the entrance from the slot sprayer, falls on the working surface of the wall of the mold 16, which is part of the future product. At the same time, the kinetic energy of impact of highly plastic softened amber particles against the wall of the mold 16 provides a reliable adhesion to its surface, forming on it a thin-layered amber coating (lining), whose thickness can be easily adjusted, applying subsequent layers of coating after cooling previous ones. By moving the slit nozzle 12 relative to the fixed walls of the mold 16, or vice versa, by moving the surface of the walls of the mold 16 relative to the nozzle 12, it is possible to achieve coatings on products of practically unlimited length or width and thus obtain decorative art or electrical insulating coatings on the products. It is especially advisable to obtain large-size products with a developed surface, such as facing tiles, panels, stained-glass windows, furniture elements, etc., as well as products of technical purpose in which the facing layer plays the role of insulation.
In this case, amber powder (flour) is used to form the products, obtained from cheap and widely distributed amber crumb of 1-16 mm fraction. As noted above, to obtain such products by known methods, amber powder (flour) would require press equipment of high power. Thus, the implementation of the proposed technical solution significantly expands the technological capabilities of amber powders and powder compositions as raw materials for obtaining new-purpose amber products, and simplifies and reduces the cost of their production.
CLAIM
A method for obtaining articles from powdered amber, for example, amber flour, comprising feeding it to the working surface of the mold walls at 180-220 ° C, forming the article at this temperature and then cooling it, characterized in that the supply of amber to the working surface of the walls of the press -forms are carried out by means of a jet of compressed inert gas, for example nitrogen.
