(EN) The invention relates to the jewelry industry. The alloy contains, by mass%: gold - 77.7; Silver - 11,2-13; Copper - 7-9; Indium - 0,3-0,7; Gallium - 0.6-1; Palladium - 0.7-1.3. The invention is aimed at obtaining high consumer properties - gloss, noble saturated yellow-green color, and high physical, mechanical and cast properties - ductility, malleability, strength, short melting period.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to gold-based alloys intended for use in the jewelry industry.

Alloys with high gold content and, accordingly, high consumer properties are known. But their disadvantage, as a rule, is unsatisfactory mechanical properties. Therefore, such alloys are practically not used for the manufacture of complex jewelry.

Most known alloys are designed to save gold while maintaining consumer properties. To do this, various additional substances are added to the alloy. However, either the desired consumer properties can not be achieved, or the alloy has unsatisfactory physico-chemical (mechanical) properties (ductility, ductility), which causes a large amount of rejection and problems in the manufacture of complex and compound jewelry (see GOST 683580 "Alloys for Basis of gold ").

The result, to which the claimed invention is directed, is the creation of an increase in the prestige of the gold alloy manufacturer with the quantity of gold pieces that does not fall under any Russian sample and, consequently, the RF Assay Chamber will have a lower sample, in this case 750 ° . At the same time, high consumer properties are achieved (gloss, noble saturated yellow-green color), which the consumer expects from gold.

And the necessary physical, mechanical and casting properties are achieved. The alloy has a high plasticity, ductility and strength, which allows you to produce complex jewelry, combine various metals, including. By soldering.

A narrow crystallization gap allows multiple use of the metal without the addition of a new "fresh" alloy, which does not lead to additional costs. Doping additives affect the melting point decrease. An increase in the difference in the hardness of the metal in the hardened and annealed state gives a wide processing sector, first of all, plastic deformation and high wear resistance of the finished product.

Along with this, the presence in the alloy of a share of gold that does not correspond to any Russian sample practically eliminates the possibility of illegal production of this alloy, since the production of an alloy with an increased gold content compared to that which reflects official branding is inappropriate for counterfactors. After all, only a manufacturer that has the goal of increasing its prestige can afford it.

The described results are achieved due to the fact that the alloy contains 77.7 parts of gold, and silver, copper, indium and palladium with the following ratio of components, mass%:

  • Gold 77.7
  • Silver 11.2-13
  • Copper 7-9
  • India 0,3-0,7
  • Gallium 0.6-1
  • Palladium 0.7-1.3

The alloy is approved and can be manufactured using known technology.

Example
The claimed invention can be carried out in an alloy containing the following components in a percentage ratio:

  • Gold 77.7
  • Silver 12.1
  • Copper 8
  • Indium .4
  • Gallium 0.8
  • Palladium 1.0

The alloy in accordance with the data given in Table. 1-3 and in the drawing, has all the characteristics allowing to achieve the result indicated in the description.

The hardness of the cold worked alloy is 777º above the hardness of the alloy 750º, thus the polishability of the product is higher.

In the annealed condition, the 777º alloy is softer than the 750º alloy, which favors better stone fastening.

The 777º alloy is more ductile (d = 47%) than the standard 750º alloy (d = 44%), which is important for stamping.

The alloy 777º has more possibilities for plastic deformation. Time resistance difference ( C) and yield stress ( 0.2 ) more than the standard alloy 750º.

From the table presented, it can be seen that the claimed alloy has a more saturated color - 29.2% versus 27.3%.

The color tone of gold alloys of 750º varies from 589 nm (yellow-orange color tone of copper), to 570 nm (greenish-yellow).

The claimed alloy 777º (573 nm) has a yellow color, with a greenish tinge, in comparison with the standard alloy (577 nm) 750º, with a reddish tinge.
