The method of manufacturing wood products with inlay to improve the quality of products is that the base of the product is used as a mold, and the free space is filled with pieces of amber, followed by pouring polymer resins.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

(EN) The invention relates to the field of decorative and applied art, in particular, to methods of manufacturing wood products with inlay.

A method is known for manufacturing furniture parts with imitation of inlaying by several wood species, described in the description of the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2041834, M. Kl. B 44 C 5/04, filed. August 27, 1993, publ. 20.08.1995. The known method is carried out as follows. Prepare the surface of the part, in particular furniture, having a wooden base, and apply a pattern outline on it. Prepare figured inserts (fragments) of the figure. In this method, they are made of a polyester resin and stained with the desired color. Then, separate (fragments) are joined to the surface of the article, the connection being carried out simultaneously with the application of the protective coating. After curing the coating, the inserts are ground to a coating level, and the entire surface of the part is polished. However, the known method does not provide the possibility of obtaining highly artistic inlaid articles using natural resins, in particular amber. Both the inserts (fragments) and the coating of the article according to the method are made of polyester resins, resulting in an imitation of inlay.

The main task set by the authors of the new method is the creation of highly artistic exclusive products using natural amber as a material of artistic value. At the same time, the maximum use of amber of fine fractions and amber crumb is the solved problem.

The task is achieved by the fact that in the manufacture of wood products with inlay by preparing the surface of the product, drawing on it a pattern, preparing the figured inserts (fragments), connecting them to the substrate, removing the top layer of the surface, grinding and polishing it, the base of the article is used as Forms, individual fragments (inserts) are made of wood, in particular from valuable rocks, and the free space between the fragments is filled with amber of various fractions, which is then filled with polymer ecologically clean resins. And before preparing the surface of the product, its preform is vacuum-dried at 35 - 45 ° C.

THE METHOD IS PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Before preparing the surface of the product, the workpiece is vacuum-dried at 35 ° -45 ° C. until the moisture content of the wood reaches 6-7%. This makes it possible to provide high quality, because with high humidity of wood, polyester resins do not react. Previously, the artist develops a sketch of the product as a whole, for example, a sketch of a decorative table, and a drawing on its surface. Then the drawing of the table surface is applied to the tracing paper. For sketch sketches are cut (for example, from fiberboard or chipboard) the base of the table top, for example, an oval or round shape. On the perimeter of the tabletop, the bezel is made with a bead height of at least 7 mm. On the surface of the countertops with tracing paper, drawings of figured inserts (fragments) are transferred so that subsequently made fragments take the place corresponding to the artist's intention. Then the fragments are prepared. To do this, from wood, for example from valuable rocks, according to the pattern on the tracing paper, individual fragments are cut out, after which they are glued to the surface of the article at a certain place for each.

To prevent deformation of the product, on the underside of the tabletop, a plywood of 3 - 4 mm thickness is glued over its entire area, with polyester resin as glue.

Further, the free space between the fragments is filled with pieces of amber of various fractions so that the upper part of the pieces protrude above the surface of the fragments, after which the surface of the article is filled with polyester resins. Then the resulting surface of the product is polished, resulting in cutting the top of the pieces of amber protruding above the fragments, thereby creating a "depth" effect on the surface. Then the surface of the product is again filled with polyester resins or other varnishes, after which the product is polished either manually or mechanically. The product is ready.

CLAIM

1. A method for manufacturing wood products with inlay, comprising preparing the surface of the article, applying a pattern to it, preparing the shaped inserts, joining them to the substrate, removing the top layer of the resulting surface, grinding and polishing it, characterized in that the product base is used as a mold , Individual inserts are made of wood, in particular, from valuable rocks, and free space is filled with pieces of amber, followed by filling with polymer resins.

2. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that, before preparing the surface of the article, its preform is vacuum-dried at 35 ° -45 ° C.
