SHUNGIT
Characteristics of the mineral.
A unique natural formation that has no analogues. Shungite is a black mineral containing 93-98% carbon and up to 3-4% hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, water. The mineral ashes contain vanadium, molybdenum, nickel, tungsten, selenium. The intermediate product between amphoric carbon and graphite, contains a crystalline phase in the form of finely dispersed globular carbon, as well as a new form of carbon - fullerene, which is considered the discovery of the XX century. Named after the village Shunga in Karelia.
Karelia has the world's only industrial deposit of schungites. Shungites were formed from bottom sediments of marine shallow water rich in organic matter, primitive microorganisms that lived about two billion years ago. Bottom sediments saturated with organic matter, for a long geological period were influenced by mountain-forming processes, due to which remained carbon. Color: black, less often dark gray. Has a significant electrical conductivity. Unlike coal (which is sometimes forged by schungite) does not have a pronounced luster and is not applicable as fuel. When insisting on shungite water, it acquires a specific smell and becomes curative.
Geologists argue that the schungite layers formed about 2 billion years ago, when only bacteria and unicellular forms of life reigned on Earth. Perhaps, it was their vital activity that caused the emergence of schungite. In this unique mineral are discovered the famous fullerenes - high-molecular carbon compounds, reminiscent of their structure of a football tire. In other words, fullerenes resemble microsets, from which spherical formations are constructed. Within them, as in therapeutic capsules, there may be other atoms - representatives of almost the entire periodic system of elements. Most likely, fullerenes determine many unique properties of schungite. Of this material, beads, pendants, pendants are made. Currently, Russia has established production of various products based on shungite: household and industrial cleaning filters, medical pastes and pillows for massage, as well as shungite pyramids. Use it with caution. Water after shungite treatment acquires a specific taste and smell.
Magic properties of stones.
He was initially mistaken for coal and tried to use it as fuel, but without success. In the time of Peter the Great, at the command of the emperor, near the largest healing spring, the Marcial Waters Resort was opened (the name is given in honor of the god of war and iron, Mars, as wounded and sick warriors were treated on these waters). Even then, Peter drew attention to another amazing ability of the stone - to purify water. Shungite is used for medicinal purposes.
Shungite cleanses the water remarkably. Already in the instructions of Peter the Great it was said that every grenadier should keep an "aspid stone" in his satchel and put it in a pot of water, "in order to protect the strength of his belly." Russian historians write that, during the Battle of Poltava, shungite allegedly saved the Russian army from an epidemic of dysentery. Nowadays it is confirmed: shungite disinfects water, kills intestinal sticks and cholera vibrios, it also neutralizes heavy metal impurities, organochlorine compounds, ammonia and nitrates. An important property of shungite water is its anti-allergenic effect, it helps to treat asthma and the consequences of burns. In particular, shungite helps in the treatment of joints and various skin diseases of allergenic origin. Shungite in Russia is very widely advertised.
Shungite is a new material on the international market for minerals with unusual properties. Nevertheless, he is trying to take his place in this row. For example, the press discusses the possible protective effect of pyramids from shungite, which are supposedly capable of shielding a person from the harmful effects of computers and televisions. If such properties of schungite are confirmed, the demand for this mineral will only grow. Religious people believe that shungite is due to the origin of the divine forces, which foresaw in advance that the mankind torn from nature will drive itself into a kind of anthropogenic trap.
Poisonous and radioactive dangerous stones and minerals
** - poisonous stones and minerals (mandatory check in the chemical laboratory + explicit indication of toxicity).
** - radioactive stones and minerals (mandatory check on the standard dosimeter + ban on open sales in the case of radioactivity over 24 milli / g / h + additional measures of population protection).
All rare stones are subject to mandatory inspection at the standard dosimeter for the permissible level of radiation and in the chemical laboratory for the absence of poisonous and evaporating components that are dangerous to humans and the environment.
