Emergency brigade (auto-support)
Probably, any driver knows that the substructures work on the capital highways. Their methods are worthy of the pen of the scriptwriter: real psychological etudes plus driving skills to the stunt. For some time the situation was preserved when respectable car owners, who got into the dummy development, turned out to be actually defenseless. But in the end, the insurance companies and bodies on the actions of scammers found their opposition. Yes, and drivers have grown wiser (although not all and not immediately). However, life does not stand still - dummy technologies are being adjusted and improved. How are the substitutions under the changed conditions, says correspondent of "Money" Andrey Salnikov.
It will be a question of a concrete brigade substituting, in March-April, an inculcated law enforcement officer (his name is not known for obvious reasons). Under her care is a section of the Moscow Ring Road from the road junction on Ochakovo to Rublevo-Uspenskoe highway. There are fifteen people in the brigade: Russians, Georgians, Tatars - and seven "working" cars for the base: four "big-eyed" Mercedes W210 (two silver and two dark blue), Volvo S80, Saab 9000 and KIA Clarus. At the KIA go Georgians, on the silvery "eyes" - the Tatars, on the other machines - the Russians.
Age substituted - from 23 to 50 years. The oldest one is "dad", or the brigadier. He is previously convicted (who served in the brigade as a minority), he does not leave for business, but he controls all the finances that flow to him. The rest of the groupings are divided into crews, in each there is one mercenary - a selling special forces officer, a policeman or an efesbeshnik. All - full-time employees of their departments. In the process of road trial, they must trump cards, play up to scammers and frighten suckers. For this they are paid 10% profit. To get into the crew, the mercenary must obtain the consent of the foreman.

"On the Creek"
The oldest and now rarely practiced scheme is a setup in criminal jargon called "on the line" (see diagram). Its essence is as follows. The driver is driving along the left lane and the dog is catching up. It is attached as close as possible and begins to ring, flashing lights, trying to squeeze between the victim and the dividing curb, which is installed on the Moscow Ring Road. In general, by all means, drives the "client" from the speedway.
It's good if the person has strong nerves, but it rarely happens. Usually people start to twitch, sharply rearrange to the right, and there they are just waiting for a "working" machine, which all this time was in the next row a little behind. Usually it is an expensive foreign car. As soon as the Loch begins to maneuver, the "working" machine accelerates and expands the front left wing under attack. The mastery of the driver-substitutions is manifested in the fact that his car gets only scratches. A heavily crumpled wing or a torn off bumper is a marriage: a "working" car goes into repair, and this is a waste of time and a lost profit.
But almost more marriage is too serious a contact with the victim's car. From a strong blow to the rear right wing it can spin on the freeway. There have been occasions when a car, spinning, hit the barrier and, having rebuffed from it, crashed into other cars. As a result, there are real victims, and a long trial and unnecessary witnesses were substituted for anything.
In the last year this scheme has undergone some changes - first of all, thanks to the media, who have described in detail the types of this type of setup. The victims of the accidents, enlightened by journalists, no longer believed in the accident's accident and did not hurry to shell out. I had to modernize the method.
"At the gathering"
If before the swindlers drove the loha into the right row, now they are waiting for him to go there himself (see the diagram). Riding in the right ranks, "working" cars look out for the victim, hiding behind trucks. Then they take a position through the series on the right and slightly behind the "client" and wait until the latter himself wants to change. The victim does not feel any danger, since the "working" machine is in the so-called dead zone, which can not be seen either in the side rearview mirror or in the salon. The driver turns on the turn signal, starts the maneuver, and at this point the "working" car sharply accelerates and replaces. For criminals, the advantages of this scheme are also in the fact that the area of contact increases - you can substitute the entire left side of the "working" car. Consequently, the amount of "damage" will increase.
"Work on the backside"
The brigade is working not only on the Moscow Ring Road, but also on the adjacent junctions. There the scheme of actions is the simplest, but at the same time the most risky for a car scoundrel.
So, the "working" car leaves the interchange at the Moscow Ring Road. Behind her moves a potential victim. First, the cheater brakes to get free space in front of him. Then it gathers speed and watches, whether the back car will follow its example. If it follows, then, substituting through the rearview mirror, does not take her eyes off her driver. As soon as he turns his head to the left to see if there is anyone in the right row of the Moscow Ring Road, substituting hits the brakes. Then everything is simple: "Where did you look? - and so on. Hence the name: "Work on the backside."
The risk lies in the fact that she directly substituted for MKAD herself, finds herself a loch, and here it is not necessary to choose especially and to whom you will break, it is not known.
After the accident occurred, scammers shouting "Did not they look at you from the sides?" or "Are you a tankman?" begin to "tear a loch." So in jargon, the process of convincing the driver of his mistake is indicated, and after realizing the guilt, it is necessary to compensate. There is a popular opinion that "substitutions" are skinhead men with a clearly visible crime story. This is not true. That is, before that was exactly the case, but now everything is different. The substitutes changed their sports clothes to good suits, their behavior changed, but there is still a chance to get them "on the cuckoo".
First of all, the "client" will lead to a "working" car and will explain for a long time that an expensive foreign car has been seriously damaged. The "client" is likely to object that in appearance these are only scratches and that repairs can not cost much. However, he will be informed that this machine is being repaired only at the company's service, and there will never be a single damaged part painted. Its after all, explain further, we must first primed, and because of this the painted area does not coincide in color with the rest of the body. In addition, the metal is deeply scratched (and there are no problems with selecting scratches on "working" machines). Therefore, you have to buy a new door and (or) the wing, but the mirror is also damaged, and the bumper ...
In fact, in services, any details are beautifully painted over, not missing in color, but the "client" may not know about it. But he can reasonably suggest looking at his own injuries to compare their severity. Late! While he was examining a foreign car, his car had already been damaged by a metal ruler. As a result, the victim will count the repairs for $ 1 -2 thousand. And if he agrees to pay, then he is a sucker who was just "torn".
You can act differently: listen to all the arguments and substitute, and without fear of getting "on the cuckoo", call the car inspector. Again the wrong move! Local traffic cops will come to the scene of the accident and they will measure everything with pleasure and describe everything. After all, for the challenge they will receive $ 100 from substituting. Then they will drive both cars to the post, and from there - to the service, count the losses. In a word, they "broke" again.
"Fight for lave"
On the way to the service in the car loha podsyadet one of the substitutions - "travel" in the jargon. Its task is not to let the "client" come to his senses. All the way he will "load" it: first he will say that the car belongs to the organization, then - that it needs to be done by tomorrow, otherwise "the boss will drive the chauffeur from work." Can remember the story when he himself at Zaporozhets crushed the fresh Lexus and then worked for spare parts for a year. The presentation will end with a life-affirming thesis such as "It's all pieces of iron." The main thing is that everyone is alive. "
All this time the driver of the "working" car going ahead will ask the random passers-by for the road to the nearest service, each time leaving the car and gesticulating. Of course, he knows the road perfectly, he travels several times a day, but the locust should get the impression that the service is really unfamiliar. In the meantime, they will be called and warned about the named cost.
"Casual" tinsmith will inspect both cars, and his conclusions will not be much different from the previously announced amount. After that, the last act of the play will begin. The tinsmith, as if in passing, mentions that in fact he does not deal with Mercedes (or another appropriate brand), but in the corporate service, the job will probably cost more. Substitutes are nervous, after all "the car should be ready for tomorrow", and will suggest to go there. Now the victim herself will offer to compensate for the damage, so as not to lose more money.
Substitutions, as a rule, go for money home to the bastard or to his acquaintances. This time the "traveler" will "fight for lave." That is, bargain. After all, usually the whole amount of money can not be collected, so we have to press on it: "We went to meet, we will be repaired in the roadside service, let me call the driver, let him go to the company, and the security service of the firm will beat the money out of you." If the client does not give in, the "traveler" will take what is, and will leave home.
In the meantime, the "working" foreign car will be driven away to a secluded place by the Moscow Ring Road, the "first aid kit" - a polish and a special rag - will be pulled out of the trunk and scratches will be struck in about twenty minutes. The main thing is to remove traces of paint from the victim's car. The cost of such repairs is not more than $ 10.
Who do not like
Theoretically, any car could be a victim, although most often they are interested in middle-class cars, the owners of which "have money and there are no roofs." But, based on personal experience, scammers know who should not be substituted. First of all, try not to touch insured cars. This is by no means connected with the existence of mythical death squads from insurance companies. They are not here. But to deal with insurers is a loss of time, which means they have arrived. True, there have been cases when in this situation substitutions also received money, because they are almost the only domestic drivers who thoroughly know the rules of the road.
Here it is necessary to say that the capital's insurers have already created a common database of participants in the accident. As a result, information about too often registered "victims" was transferred to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and even several criminal cases on fraud appeared.
Bypass cheaters side and female drivers. Those themselves will not give money, but they will call someone who can be a "wizard", as no one will warn in advance.
In addition, not an option - tightly toned cars. Substitutes by experience know that they often travel around the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Of course, they will ignore the car with departmental numbers.
"On the descent" and "on the road" of scammers are not interested in a car with a panoramic rearview mirror. It shows the "dead zone" where the substages are hiding, which means that the effect of surprise will not work.
In addition, they are not attracted by cars with a bat on the right side. Since seven "working" machines serviced one section of the road day by day, it is too likely to be substituted for the recent "client" of colleagues. The "legend" is one, and the service too.
The brigade's profit is easy to estimate. There are seven "working" machines on the segment of the MKAD that we are considering. The working schedule was substituted - from 10.00 to 17.00, lunch - around 13.00. At this time, all cars leave the MKAD, as the foreman at the roadside cafe pays for food. Weekends - Saturday, Sunday. Exceptions are in the case of a major overhaul of the "working" machine or if the brigade was not able to fulfill the norm - then it works at an inopportune time.
For their site, substitutions pay a fixed amount to the bandits on whose territory they work on a monthly basis. There are unsuccessful days, in which one can not even be made to stand up, but yields also fall out, when one crew "serves" five cars each. On the average, one episode with an income of $ 1 thousand per day accounts for one "working" car per month. About $ 150,000 is received per month. Of this money, the share of bandits is immediately deducted - at least 50%. Other items of expenditure are the repayment of traffic police calls, as well as the complete painting of cars, which is held every three weeks. And also the payoffs-members of the brigade are sometimes caught and they must be rescued from the militia. Thus, a brigade of 15 people per month accounts for about $ 30 - 40 thousand, which allows them to quite well exist.
The title of "Loch" money is worth
Preparing the article for publication, I suddenly realized that two years ago he himself was the victim of a set-up.
It was summer. Returning from work on Begovaya street and driving through the bridge in front of 1905, I unsuccessfully tried to turn to Matveevskaya Street, which runs along Vagankovskoye cemetery. Right in front of the traffic lights, my Zhiguli "attacked" Lexus. Inspection showed that the "Zhiguli" bent the right side of the rear bumper, but the foreign car was scratched the front left wing, the headlight was out and the front bumper was torn off. The latter, in addition, broke in the middle of the room, which in turn broke in half. The picture is horrendous - I figured out how much it could cost to repair such a Lexus, and came in a slight panic. At the same time, my car was repaired by a single bump on the bumper. Then something flashed through the thought: did not it fit?
But to analyze the situation to the end I was not given - from the foreign car appeared three men each weighing a centner, but not athletic addition. And one hand was in a cast. The men affectionately smiled at me: "There are not more than a dozen such cars in Moscow, so you got caught". Then the driver Lexus inquired: "Where did you study, tankman?" In "Pleschke", I answer. "Come on, I too!" The driver rejoiced, although with the naked eye it was evident that he had hardly finished school and was expelled from the physical culture school for extra weight.
Two passengers Lexus "were" graduates of the university of the same profile. "Economists" entered the position of a young colleague and sympathetically suggested that I could not find the right money: "You've spent thousands on three and a half greens." Okay, we forgive you a thousand. " The mood rose, and I continued to bargain. As a result, they agreed that I gave $ 700 and "we will not call traffic police". I thought that I almost earned $ 3 thousand. And it turned out that I earned the title "Loch".
It should be remembered that hundreds of accidents occur in the capital every day and one of them is standing up among them. First you need to figure out what kind of foreign car you "attacked". First, look carefully. Typically, the professional substituted the car repeatedly repainted from the left side and from behind, but the right side is untouched. Secondly, if you start telling a fairy tale about a car that belongs to a large organization, then you know that in respectable firms all representative foreign cars are insured. So the driver immediately calls in place of an accident the insurance agent and the traffic police.
Thirdly, the substitutions are sure to offer you to go to the roadside and understand there. They after all work all time on one site and it is not reasonable for them to glow once again before other drivers. There have been cases when drivers at the scene of the accident stopped being goodwill, who reported that they had seen the "injured" foreign car several times in the same situation. It came to ridiculous - the same person, but on different cars, was the victim of the same scammers.
Without Loja live badly
If all the signs of the stand are there, "Money" offers the following plan of action:
1. Do not get anywhere from the scene.
2. Inform substitutions that you control the machine by proxy without the right to sell, while it, like them, belongs to the organization.
3. Substitutes are not auto inspectors, so do not show documents to them. Thus, you will protect yourself from the option of selling your car at the expense of damage.
4. Declare that there is no money and no one will be liable for them, so that with all the desire to repair the damage in a short time it will not work. But there is insurance, and now you will dial the number of the owner of the car, which will be dealt with. Just in case, you need to remember that the insured car can be managed by several people and the insurance applies to all drivers fixed by the insurance company.
5. It would be nice to call as many friends as possible to the scene of the accident. You do not have to be alone, at least for the sake of not getting "cuckoo" from the vexed substitutions. Of course, they changed the image, but the habits remained the same.
6. If your arguments did not work and the substitutions promise that the sky will soon appear to you with a sheepskin, you need to call the telephone number of trust of the Moscow State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, number 923-78-92. The correspondent of "Money" checked - a service specially created to gather information about cases of abuse of authority by traffic inspectors, regularly works round the clock. The caller must report that he was a victim of scammers. In addition, it is necessary to indicate the coordinates where the incident occurred, as well as the names of the traffic police officers, if they have already arrived. The fact is that the bribed traffic cops make a protocol only for the species, and then send it to the trash. Fraudsters do not need to figure day after day in a police report. In addition, you can call 02, informing about robbery and extortion.
As a result, after realizing that money will not be received quickly (or even at all), the substitutes themselves will fall behind you: time is more expensive, and there are plenty of suckers on the road without you.
