Method 2. If the lock is closed. We unscrew the axle bolts .

If you have a locked lock type 1 , you will need all the same hexagon for 8, a balonnik (or other lever) and a screwdriver.

We unscrew both axle bolts using the lever. As they twist, they unfold the lid of the lock and exit.

After that, into the holes from the bolts we insert the screwdriver and push out towards the side of the washer, propping the dog and the pinion.

When the washers are shifted, the dog and the pinion are released. Then just insert the screwdriver into the hole from the bolts, move it in different directions (so that the dog disengages) and the "crab" falls off.

This method is only suitable for old-style blockers. The new thread of the axial bolts is cut, so when the bolt is unscrewed, it does not rest against the red cover of the lock, and even more so, it does not unfold it and does not come out.

TIP! If the pinion bolt is "licked" (and this sometimes occurs), it is necessary to completely unscrew the dog's bolt, push out the washer, so that the dog will be released and become feet on the lower tabs of the blocker. Under the weight of a person, or better than two, it will fall off.
