On Tuesday evening, December 3, the Party of Regions issued an official statement in which it accused the opposition of preparing a forceful scenario for the development of events in the country in order to seize power.
The dramatic events of the past few days have clearly demonstrated the criminal intentions of the opposition political forces, their willingness to begin the active phase of the force scenario aimed at seizing power.
"Opposition extremists seized the administrative building of the Kiev city state administration, occupied the House of Trade Unions, the October Palace, blocked the Cabinet of Ministers, robbery attempts to force a breakthrough to the Presidential Administration of Ukraine," the PR statement said.

Mass anti-government protests in Ukraine have been held since November 21, when the government announced the suspension of the preparation of an association agreement with the European Union. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not dismiss the government of Mykola Azarov. This decision was supported by 186 deputies with the required 226.
In particular, 90 members of the Batkivshchyna faction, 42 representatives of the UDAR faction, as well as 36 members of the Freedom faction voted for the cabinet’s resignation.
The Party of Regions and the Communist Party refused to vote for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers Azarov.
