Also, according to the European official, the resolution calls for paying attention to the facts of tax evasion, money laundering by Ukrainian companies and businessmen through European banks.

Speaking about when the mechanism of sanctions, referred to in the resolution, can be put into effect, Protasiewicz noted: "After the adoption of the resolution, we need several weeks for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU to take a corresponding decision." It should be adopted unanimously. " According to him, the list of "applicants" for sanctions will be prepared by the diplomatic circles of the European Union and the EU member states after the adoption of the resolution.

"It will be discussed at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU, and the final decision is likely to be made before the end of February," the European official explained.
