UPD: 04/09/2014 Putin's army: how to bring up Russian soldiers. PHOTO
Hazing is exacerbated by national hatred within the army, Caucasian and other communities. Partly because of such an army, more than 1 million people (mostly Russians) left Russia forever during Putin’s reign. And they took their children with them.
Anton Porechkin. Athlete, member of the Zabaykalsky Krai weightlifting team. He served on the island of Iturup (Kuril Islands), military unit 71436. On October 30, 2012, he was beaten to death by drunken grandfathers at the 4th month of service. 8 hits with a sapper shovel, little is left of the head.
Ruslan Ayderkhanov. From Tatarstan. Drafted into the army in 2011, served in military unit 55062 in the Sverdlovsk Region. Three months later, he was returned to his parents in a coffin. On the body everywhere there were traces of beatings, an eye was broken, limbs were broken. According to the military, Ruslan himself caused all this when he tried to hang himself on a tree near the unit.
Dmitry Bochkarev. From Saratov. On August 13, 2012, he died in the army after many days of sadistic bullying by colleague Ali Rasulov. The latter beat him, forced him to sit on bent legs for a long time with his arms extended forward, striking in the event of a change in position. Also, by the way, Sergeant Sivyakov scoffed at Private Andrei Sychev in Chelyabinsk in 2006. Both legs and genitals were amputated at that time, but he remained alive. Ali Rasulov went further. Before the army, he studied at a medical school, so he decided to practice Dmitry as a doctor: he cut out cartilage tissue from his nose with nail scissors that was damaged during the beating, sutured the left ear tears with a household needle and thread.
UPD: 04/09/2014 Crimea is on the verge of a gasoline crisis. VIDEO
Fuel reserves are running out, but there are no new arrivals. In Crimea, fuel will run out in a few days. Oil traders say they are not able to prevent fuel collapse, TSN reports.
Now at the gas station are selling residues imported from mainland Ukraine. “Today, we have 6 to 10 days of supply for different types of fuel. Now, we still have the opportunity to prevent the shortage of using those petroleum products that were previously delivered to Crimea,” said Vadim Zhdanov, a representative of the self-proclaimed authorities of the peninsula.
Railroad gasoline is no longer imported. If you deliver fuel to the peninsula by cars, the price of it will increase even more. Already, a liter of 95th gasoline costs almost 14 hryvnia. But fuel supplies from Russia have not yet been established. “The main reasons are objective - we do not have a form of payment with the Russian Federation, there are no ruble accounts. We have not yet worked out the logistics of these deliveries, where and what is new for us, not only operators, but also our Russian partners,” the director admitted energy company Lenur Settarov.

UPD: 04/09/2014 At night, Russian troops regrouped at the borders of Ukraine. Separatists received a request to organize a "corridor", - Tymchuk
Throughout the night from April 8 to 9, a tense situation remained in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
This was written on his Facebook page by the head of the Center for Military-Political Studies, a representative of the Information Resistance group, Dmitry Tymchuk.
“According to our data, Russian troops regrouped in the 200-km border zone. However, there were no direct attempts to cross the state border by units and units of the Russian army. Until 05:00 in the morning, the separatists received requests to organize a“ corridor ”at the state border,” he writes.
According to Tymchuk, the scenario was that separatist groups were supposed to neutralize our border guards on one of the country roads in the Luhansk region and track the movement of Ukrainian troops near the border. Thus, ensuring the unhindered passage of Russian troops to Ukrainian territory. So that then the Russian military would come to the aid of the separatists who seized the administration buildings in the cities of eastern Ukraine (the “green men” option).
“As we noted earlier, there was no planned invasion in the form of a“ full-fledged ”offensive by the Russian troops. Ukrainian border guards took measures to strengthen state border protection. Parts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also relocated to the border areas in advance. At the moment, the scenario planned by the Russian side has not been implemented. However, this does not mean that the enemy will not try to realize it again. We are monitoring the situation, "the military expert emphasizes.
UPD: 04/09/2014 The European Union has expanded the "black list" of Russians to 107 people, - media
The EU may apply visa and financial sanctions against Russian citizens. The expanded list consists of 107 people and includes almost all of the country's top political leadership, reports Kommersant.
At the disposal of journalists was a five-page document with the names of citizens of the Russian Federation, who may be prohibited from entering the European Union and whose assets there may be seized. It is called "A non-exhaustive list of Russian individuals and organizations responsible or involved in actions or decisions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine." In addition to 107 names, five organizations entered the list of compilers.
According to the sources in Brussels, new personalized sanctions can be introduced before the stage of economic restrictions - the decision to expand the black list can be made at the proposal of the EU foreign ministers. The defendants in the list are divided into five groups.
As the newspaper notes, the first includes members of the legislature. In particular, deputy chairmen of the Federation Council Alexander Torshin and Ilyas Umakhanov, all members of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs and the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, the entire composition of the State Duma Council, as well as a number of deputies from various committees, including Alexei Pushkov and Vladimir Komoyedov.
The second group includes members of the executive authorities, all permanent and non-permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, with the exception of President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The third group includes representatives of law enforcement agencies. This included senior officials from the Ministry of Defense (including Deputy Minister Anatoly Antonov, head of the main department of international military cooperation Sergei Koshelev and deputy head of the General Staff Igor Sergun) and the FSB (including the head of the department of military counterintelligence Alexander Bezverkhny).
The fourth group is businessmen. There are no names in this category yet. EU leaders initially following the United States considered the possibility of imposing sanctions on large entrepreneurs close to the Kremlin, but in the end did not do so.
The fifth group is media organizations and journalists who "actively participated in propaganda efforts in support of the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation and Russian military intervention in Ukraine." Such structures in the EU included Gazprom-Media, the TV channels Rossiya, Russia Today, Channel One and NTV. In addition to Dmitry Kiselyov, it is proposed to extend personalized sanctions to three more journalists: Mikhail Leontyev, Irada Zeynalov and Mikhail Gusman.
The EU is considering the possible introduction of new personal sanctions as an interim measure on the way to economic sanctions. Recall, earlier President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy said that the EU is preparing a third package of sanctions against Russia because of the aggression of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.
UPD: 04/09/2014 American destroyer enters the Black Sea to support Ukraine
The destroyer will take part in joint exercises with the ships of the Navy of NATO member countries in the Black Sea and will visit a number of ports.
Amid the aggravation of the situation in southeastern Ukraine, the US Navy destroyer Donald Cook, equipped with the Aegis missile defense system, was launched into the Black Sea to support Kiev and NATO allies. This was reported by the British newspaper Telegraph, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Earlier, the American television channel CNN reported, citing Pentagon officials, that the ship should arrive in the Black Sea by Thursday. His presence, the channel notes, is part of the Pentagon’s efforts to demonstrate support for the US’s Eastern European allies, concerned about the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine. As previously noted by the NBC TV channel, it is expected that the destroyer will take part in joint exercises with the ships of the Navy of NATO member countries in the Black Sea and will visit a number of ports.
Pentagon spokesman Steve Warren confirmed last week that the Navy will send an American destroyer to the Black Sea in the coming days “to assure our allies of our loyalty to the region’s obligations.” He emphasized that this decision is "a direct consequence of the current situation in Ukraine." S. Warren did not rule out the possibility of conducting exercises with the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the US Navy Information Service, the destroyer Donald Cook, based in the Spanish port of Rota on the Atlantic, arrived in Spain on February 11. Washington decided to deploy it on a permanent basis in Europe as part of a program to build a phased adaptive missile defense system. According to the US Navy information service, in 2014 another destroyer, Ross, will arrive at the naval base in Rota for permanent deployment, and in 2015, the destroyers Carney and Porter )
These ships, capable of tracking ballistic missiles and with a high probability of shooting down them, will patrol in the eastern part of the Mediterranean. As representatives of the Navy indicate, the purpose of deploying ships is to protect European allies, partner countries located in the region of American troops, as well as the United States from current and future missile threats. As previously reported, in March, the US destroyer Truxtun visited the Black Sea. He took part in a series of exercises with the ships of the Navy of Romania and Bulgaria. The ship left the region on March 21.
