UPD: 12/16/2013 Klyuev was not involved in the dispersal of Euromaidan on November 30 - Prosecutor General
On Monday, December 16, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said that Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Klyuyev was not involved in the brutal dispersal of protesters on Independence Square on the night of November 30.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, on Monday, on his own initiative, Klyuyev arrived at the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office and was questioned.
"The investigation established that the NSDC secretary Andriy Klyuyev has nothing to do with the events that occurred on the night of November 29-30 on Independence Square. The investigation is ongoing," said First Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaly Bilous.
Earlier, Klyuyev himself said that he denied any involvement in the dispersal of the rally for Ukraine’s European integration on November 30 in Kiev.
Currently, the Prosecutor General’s Office suspects the former chairman of the Kiev city state administration, Alexander Popov, the deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Vladimir Sivkovich, and the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kiev, Valery Koryak, in excess of power during the dispersal of the rally on Independence Square in Kiev on November 30.

UPD: 12/16/2013 Azarov in the European Square. Photo report from the rally in Kiev
Last weekend in Kiev, on the European Square adjacent to Euromaidan, a rally of the Party of Regions was held, at which Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov spoke.
During the rally, participants of the Euromaidan approached the protesters. Reinforced police cordons prevented them from freely walking and talking with PR supporters, but they did not lose heart and sang for those gathered at the European Anthem of Ukraine. Azarov’s speech and mood at the pro-government rally, as well as the atmosphere in the camp of PR supporters in the Mariinsky Park, are in the photo story.
