UPD: 23/10/2014 Poroshenko and Lyashko parties continue to lead the elections
According to a sociological survey of Public Opinion released today at a press conference in Ukrinform: "The level of support for the party" Bloc Petro Poroshenko "is 28% of citizens, followed by the radical party of Oleg Lyashko, supported by almost 14% of respondents, the political party "People's Front" received 8%, "- said Vladimir Podgornov, president of the fund. In his opinion, such a trend will remain until the election day, which in fact will be the final result of the parliamentary campaign.
Choosing which party to vote for, citizens prefer those who demonstrated practical activities, specific actions in solving problems (27%), as well as the personality of the leader who heads the political force (almost 25%). The program of the party and official statements of party leaders (6%) have the lowest value for respondents.
According to the results of the study, almost half of Ukraine's population believes that political parties should help attract real professionals and professional cadres (this idea is supported by 43% of respondents) and prevent their outflow, and give more attention to young cadres (almost 40% of respondents support this idea). Existing parties must demonstrate openness (this highlights the) respondents and the radicalism (more than 20% of respondents state this) in addressing pressing issues. At the same time, only up to 7.5% of respondents say that ideological issues are addressed to specific problems that ordinary citizens worry about.
Terms of conducting the field stage of the study were 4-17 October 2014. The total population of the study was the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and over. The sample size was 2000 respondents. The method of research is a personalized formal interview according to the questionnaire.
The error of representativeness of the study is +/- 2.4%.
