UPD: 06/24/2014 In the Russian social network Odnoklassniki posts criticizing Putin are deleted automatically
In the Russian social network Odnoklassniki, posts criticizing President Vladimir Putin are removed “automatically”, and not at the request of the administration.
This was reported by the press secretary of the social network Ilya Grabovsky, writes "Lenta.ru".
According to him, posts that have exceeded the threshold of complaints are automatically deleted on the social network.
“Deleting posts can be caused by so-called user moderation, for example, if there were a lot of complaints about a particular post,” Grabovsky said.
How many complaints are necessary for automatic removal, Grabovsky did not specify, saying that this indicator is constantly changing.
According to the rules of the social network, any registered user can complain about the publication on the social network.
The spokeswoman assures that there is no political moderation in the social network.
"The only thing that is important is not to violate the site’s regulations or laws. These are two reasons why posts can be deleted," Grabovsky said.
Previously, users of the social network said that their criticisms of Putin disappear from the news feed shortly after publication.
