We in shram.kiev.ua became curious as to the actors who embodied their favorite characters, in ordinary life. Some of us have learned, and some have struck us to the core.
The action of the "Game of Thrones" takes place in a fictional world reminiscent of medieval Europe, however the seasons of the world last for several years. The series begins at the end of a long summer. In the series simultaneously operates a lot of characters and develops several related storylines. One of them is devoted to the struggle of several influential families for the throne of the kingdom; another - about the attempts of an impoverished order guarding the ancient Wall in the north of the country, to resist the supernatural threat from the outside; the third - about the journey of the exiled princess to the countries of the east in an attempt to find her allies for the return to her homeland and the conquest of the Iron Throne. In the series, there are fantastic creatures: dragons and undead. For the series is characterized by the lack of strictly positive characters, many characters make ambiguous acts and can die on the screen unexpectedly for the viewer. The series touches on issues of politics, religion, civil war, the status of women in society, crime and punishment. Especially for the series, several artificial languages have been developed, in particular the Dothraki language.
The television series received high reviews from the audience, becoming one of the largest budget projects on modern American television and the most expensive in the fantasy genre, despite the fact that many critics negatively reacted to the overabundance in the series of profanity, murders in a cruelly naturalistic way, numerous erotic scenes and hints of a sexual nature. Around the "Game of Thrones" a vast fan community arose. The series was awarded many prestigious awards, including a total of 26 prime-time Emmy awards in various categories, three times the Hugo Award for Best Performance, and the Peabody Award. The awards were also received by the actors who participated in the television series - for example, Peter Dinklage, who played the role of Tirion Lannister in the series, was twice awarded the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Cersei Lannister - Lina Hidey
Who would have thought that the golden-haired Queen Sercea, firstly, a brunette, and secondly, completely different from her character. However, there are similarities - regardless of the color of the hair and what is worn on it, we admire Lina with the same pleasure both on the screen and outside it.
John Snow - Keith Harington
We jumped with happiness, learning that John Snow is alive again! Do not you think he's the most beautiful zombie you've ever seen? A pleasant bonus: in life Kit is as good and charming as his hero in the show.
Dayeneris Targarien - Emilia Clark
Dayeneris Targarien, or Khalisi, is one of the central characters of the series. The actress who performed this role is now known all over the world and, although she can not boast of her heroine's platinum hue, is incredibly beautiful and talented.
Melissandra - Caris van Houten
The sixth season shocked us by showing us the real image of the priestess Melisandra: it turns out that her beauty is a merit of a magic necklace. In reality, the Dutch actress, who played the role of the red priestess, does not need magic to look young and beautiful.
Arya Stark - Macy Williams
Arya, the youngest daughter of Ned Stark, was always more like a tomboy boy than a lady, and she was attracted to arms more than to embroidery. Macy, who embodied the indomitable little she-wolf on the screen, on the contrary, loves feminine tricks and is able to emphasize her dignity with proper make-up.
Sandor Kligan - Rory McCann
Truly the make-up works wonders! We all remember the terrible scars that disfigured the Dog, and where are they now? Outside the set, the actor, who played the role of an unsociable, mighty warrior, smiles a lot and loves communicating with fans.
Margery Tyrell - Natalie Dormer
Ambitious and determined Margery is known not only for her beauty, but also for her mind and talent for political intrigues. Natalie Dormer, who played the young queen, fascinates not only with her charm, but also with courage: for the role of Cressida in the franchise "Hunger Games" she shaved half her head.
Brienne Tart - Gwendolin Christie
Who said that strong women can not be beautiful? Look at the charming Gwendolyn, who embodied in the show a noble warrior Brienne. In contrast to her heroine, Gwendolyn knows how and likes to wear dresses, which we are very pleased: she looks fantastic in them.
Samwell Tarley - John Bradley-West
John Snow's best friend Sam has conquered our hearts with the mind and real, unadulterated courage. And in life, the actor who played the future of the mister is as kind and lovable as Sam himself.
Ramsey Bolton - Ivan Rehn
Ramsey Bolton has become one of the most popular characters of recent seasons: viewers eagerly awaited when this evil incarnation will get what it deserves. In reality, Ivan Rehn, who played the role of Ramsey, is a pleasant and charming man, genuinely passionate about music. Who would have thought?
Brandon Stark - Isaac Hampstead-Wright
We saw Bran as a small restless boy, and suddenly - bam! - He is already quite grown up in recent seasons. This is one of those rare cases when the actor grew up simultaneously with his character: Isaac is now 17 years old.
Sansa Stark - Sophie Turner
Did you know that Sophie is a natural blonde? Green-eyed beauty for the role in the "Game of Thrones" had to constantly dye his hair. However, this is not the only difference between the heroine and the actress who embodied her. In real life, Sophie looks much happier than Sansy.
Joffrey Baratheon - Jack Gleeson
Jack, brilliantly played the eldest son of Queen Cersei, for a long time remained in the memory of the audience as one of the most evil and annoying characters. Young actor glory was not easy: it reached the point that people insulted him right in the middle of the street, although in reality Jack is a very nice and nice guy.
Khal Drogo - Jason Momoa
Khal Drogo remembered us with his masculinity and love for the beautiful Deeneris. Outside the screen Jason looks no less severe and brutal. You can not say anything, he's coming.
Yaken Hgar - Tom Vlasha
A clever killer serving an impersonal god is one of the most mysterious characters of the series, which had a strong influence on Arya. In real life Tom Vlasikha, who played the role of Yaken, does not like mystery and hoodies, but for communication is always open.
