Purpose of the game: to make 3 poker combinations and win the pot.
Rules of the game. Chinese gambling, which is very popular in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, it is also played in the US. It is known under other names. In Cantonese it is called Sap Sam Cheung, which means 13 cards, in Vietnamese it sounds like Xap Xam Chuong, in Chinese it's called Luosong Pai Jiu, in the US it's called Chinese poker, in Hawaii it's called Pepito, in the Philippines it's known as Pusoy and Etc.
They play four of us, each player plays for himself. Before the game, players make bets that can be equal to $ 1, $ 10, $ 100. A sender is either chosen by a lot, or by a passer-by is a separate player who only gives cards and does not accept participation in the game. The deck is carefully packed and each player is dealt 13 cards: first 5 cards, then 5 more cards and then 3 cards. In total, each player formed 3 hands of cards, two of which have 5 cards and 3 cards in one hand. In the hands where 5 cards are used standard poker combinations , and in the hand with three cards you can use only 3 combinations: 3 cards of the same value, one pair and a high card. Players have 3 hands of cards in front of them in closed form. When all players have scanned the cards and placed them in front of them, the cards are opened and each pair of players alternately compares the corresponding hands. The player whose hand will be stronger will receive one positive point, and that player whose hand is weaker gets one negative point. When the hands are equal, none of these players is awarded points. This episode of the game is shown below.

Often in the game add some features in the rules, for example, if a player wins the first hand of three cards, then he gets not a +1 point, and +3 points, if the player won the second hand with a full house, then he does not get a +1 point , And +2 points, if the player won the second or third hand with 4 different cards, he gets +4 points instead of +1, if the player won the second or third hand with a royal flush or a straight flush, he won + 5 points instead of +1 points.
Also possible is a game with special combinations:
6 pairs and one card - +3 points are awarded for the victory;
3 straight - 3 times consecutive cards, 3 points are awarded for the victory;
3 flushes - 3 times 3 cards of the same suit, + 3 points are awarded for the victory;
Full street - when the player has all the cards in the sequence from T-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-V-D-K, it is not necessary that the cards are of the same suit, for the victory 13 points are awarded.

Game Options in Chinese Poker

Playing against the house. One of the players is the owner of the House combination, the same player owns the bank with the players' rates. Other players play directly with this bank owner.

Surcharge for sweep. Some players play so that a player who wins all 3 hands against another player gets an additional one or an additional 3 points (by appointment). These extra points are called sweeps.

The highest payment for the second hand. In some games a victory with a penalty or a straight flush on the second hand is worth an extra point.

The total point. In some games, the following arrangement is possible, that only between two players the winner receives one extra point.

The only winner. In this version of the game play in the Philippines, where the victory is awarded only when the player wins the other players with only two hands. If no one achieves this, the bank stays in place and moves on to the next game, and no one gets a victory.

Additional payments for winning or losing a hand. For the victory or defeat of the hand, the corresponding positive and negative points may be awarded:
For 3 different cards in the first hand - 2 additional points;
For full house in the second hand - 1 extra point;
For a penalty in the second or third hand - 3 additional points;
A straight or a royal flush in the second or third hand - 4 additional points.

Surrender. A variant of the game is possible, when one of the players gives up, and he must pay each of the players, as if he has two of three hands per unit for each or two units for each. One unit is a multiple of one rate.

Victory with entering. Some players play in such a way that each player makes 3 bets before the bargain. Instead of comparing hands between pairs of players, that player who has the best first hand gets 4 positive points.

No pictures. There is a variant of the game, when if in combinations there are no picture cards (aces, kings, ladies, jacks), then this player automatically wins, only it is not known which amount of points he gets for it.

Malay Sap Sam Cheung. In this version of the game, 3 players play against the bank.

Additional points are awarded for the following:
3 different cards in the first hand - 2 additional points;
Full House in the second hand - 2 additional points;
Square in the third hand - 4 additional points;
Square in the second hand - 6 additional points;
Street or royal flush in the third hand - 6 additional points;
Straight or royal flush in the second hand - 8 extra points.
Special hands in ascending order:
3 flushes - 3 additional points;
3 straight - 4 additional points;
6 and a half pairs - 4 additional points;
5 pairs and one triple - 5 additional points;
All cards of the same color - 10 extra points;
Small: cards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 - 10 additional points;
Large: cards 8, 9, 10, B, D, K, T - 10 additional points;
3 times four cards of the same value and one any - 16 additional points;
3 straight flush - 18 extra points;
12 maps of pictures and one any card - 18 additional points;
13 cards of the same suit - 26 extra points.

The Vietnamese version. In the Vietnamese version, the additional points are distributed as follows:
3 different cards in the first hand - 3 points;
Full house in the second hand - 2 points;
Form of the third in the third hand - 4 points;
Straight flush in the third hand - 5 points;
Straight flush in the second hand - 10 points.
Special hands:
3 straight - 3 points;
3 flushes - 3 points;
6 pairs - 3 points;
5 pairs and one triple - 6 points;
A consistent straight with different suits - 13 points;
A consistent straight with one suit - 26 points.

The Singapore version.
