Rules of the game. From the deck, any lady is removed. A lady who will remain alone in red or in a black suit is called an "old maid." The first deliverer in the game is determined by a lot, in the next games the players take the cards in turn. The deck is carefully shuffled, removed and all cards are distributed equally among all players. Each player sorts his cards, showing his cards to other players. Discard pairs of cards of the same value. The first move belongs to the player to the left of the handler. The player suggests that his neighbor on the left pull out one of his cards. If this card from a neighbor makes a pair of cards of the same value with his cards, then this pair is discarded. Next, the neighbor suggests that the next player clockwise pull out a card from him. Thus, the game continues in a circle until one of the players has a single card left. The player who is left with the cards is considered a loser. He is called the "old maid."

An old man

The game is played according to the rules of the Old Maiden with a few exceptions. From the deck, all jacks are withdrawn, except jack of spades. The pairs of cards that have the same value and the same color are discarded.
