Rules of the game. This game was popular in the 1980s among servicemen in the Royal Air Force of Great Britain. Often, they played small money, but you can play without money. If they play for money, then each player must bet on the game in the amount agreed upon before the game between all players. In the first game, the handler is determined by lot, in the next games, the loser or the winning player in the previous game becomes the deliverer. After determining the handler, the deck is carefully shuffled, removed and each player is dealt 18 cards, the remaining 4 cards are put closed in the center of the table, forming a square. There is no trump in the game. Next, starting with the player to the left of the handler, the exchange of cards begins: each player gives one of his cards clockwise to the next player and receives from him a card of the same suit, but of the highest value, if the player does not have such card, then the player gives his any card. After that, the handler changes his any 4 cards with cards that lie on the table in the form of a square. The exchanged cards are put aside and participation in the game is not accepted. The first move in the game belongs to the player to the left of the handler. A player can enter any of his cards, every next player clockwise must put a card of the same suit, if there is no card of that kind, then he can put any card. Collects the laid out cards (bribe) the player whose card is older, to the same player and the right of the first move in the next rally of the bribe. The player who first takes 12 bribes becomes the winner and if they play for money, then he takes all the money himself.
Note. If they play for money, then there is a certain rule, the sender must take at least 8 bribes, the player to the left of the handler is not less than 5 bribes and the player to the right of the deliverer has at least 3 bribes. If one of the players does not fulfill this condition, then he must give the winner of the game one bet. As a result, the winner will have on hand a sum of money equal to four rates.
There is a variant of the game, when they play by rule not 8-5-3 bribes, but 9-5-2 bribes. That is, the sender must take at least 9 bribes, the player on the left has at least 5 bribes, and the player on the right has at least 2 bribes.
