Rules of the game. This card game was played in Illinois, USA, in the 1930s and 1940s. Participation in the game is accepted by 3 players, using a deck of 52 cards. The first deliverer is determined by lot. The deck is carefully packed and each player is dealt 13 cards one at a time and 13 cards are dealt to a non-existent player - a free hand called a "pickup", the cards in the pickup lie closed in a pile. Players play 4 games and in every 12 deals.
1. The first game - in the first game, players remove all cards of trump suit, then play. The trump card is assigned by the sender.
2. The second game - in the second game, the handler, after viewing his cards, calls the trump suit, then play the game.
3. The third game - in the third game there is no trump suit.
4. The fourth game - in the fourth game play without a trump card, and the goal of the game is to avoid bribes (this is called "nullo".
In the first three games, the sender has a six-pay quota, the player to the left of the handler, has a four-bribe quota, the player to the right of the handler has a three-bribe quota. If the player takes more than his quota, then this player is credited with one extra point for each taken bribe over the quota. If the player takes less than his quota, the player is credited with one negative extra point for each unfinished bribe below the quota.
In the fourth game, the sender has a three-bribe quota, the player to the left of the handler has a quota of four bribes, and the player to the right of the handler has a quota of six bribes. If a player takes more than his quota, then he is credited with one negative point for each extra bribe. If the player takes less bribes than his quota, then the player is credited with one positive point for each bribe below the quota.
For each game, after the players have looked at their cards, the handler determines how many cards he wants from the pickup (it can be from 0 to 13 cards), the sender initially discards the number of named cards from hand to hand, and then takes this number of cards From the top of the pickup truck. If the cards in the pick-up are left, the player to the left of the handler can drop as many cards as he likes and take this amount from the pickup truck. If after this, the cards in the pick-up are left, then the player to the right of the handler can drop the corresponding number of cards and take this amount in the pick-up truck.
The first move in the game belongs to the deliverer. The sender can come in with any of his cards, every next player clockwise must put a card of the same suit, if the player does not have a card of that color, then he must put his any card. The player who puts the highest card in the suit of the first turn picks up the cards, if the trump card was laid, then the player who laid the trump card picks up the cards, if the trump card was laid several, then the player who put the oldest trump card collects the cards. The player who took the laid out cards (bribe), makes the first move in the draw of the next trick. Thus, all games are played and the player who accumulates the most points, after the end of four games, becomes the winner.
