Craftsmen can by the next spring make just such a shovel combine. It will help to plant potatoes quickly, without much fatigue. If this is done by a regular shovel, then there is a great many unnecessary movements to be done: bend down, dig a hole, throw in a tuber, cover it with earth. The proposed device combines all operations. The scheme of his work is the following: two triangular shovels are welded to the two handles, which in a closed position resemble a beak. Clicking on it, the shovel is easily deepened into the ground (see fig.).
Now we need to bring the handles together - the “beak” under the ground will open. A tuber is thrown into it and a “open” shovel is pulled out. At the same time the soil will fill up the potatoes.
