The square pronator
Square pronator , m. Pronator quadratus, is a thin quadrangular plate of muscle beams transversely located directly on the interosseous membrane of the forearm, under the flexor tendons of the fingers and wrists. The muscle begins from the distal part of the anterior surface of the ulnar bone and is attached to the same level of the anterior surface of the radial bone.
Function: penetrates the forearm.
Innervation: n. Medianus (CVI-ThI).
Blood supply: a. Interossea anterior.
