Thin muscle, m. Gracilis, - long, slightly flattened, lies subcutaneously, is located most medially from the whole of this group of muscles. It starts from the anterior surface of the pubic bone and, going downwards, passes into a long thin tendon, which, circling behind the medial epicondyle of the thigh , attaches to the tuberosity of the tibia . Even before the attachment site, the tendon m. Gracilis fuses with the tendons of m. Sartorii and m. Semitendinosi, as well as with the fascia fascia, forming a superficial goose paw. Function: leads the hip, and also participates in the bending of the shin, turning the leg outward.
Innervation: anterior branch n. Obturatorii (LII-LIV).
Blood supply: aa. Pudenda externa, obturatoria, profunda femoris.
