Bulb of vestibule vestibule

The bulb of the vestibule, bulbus vestibuli, corresponds to the bulb of the penis, but has a number of differences. This unpaired formation, consisting of two right and left parts, is connected by a small intermediate part of the bulb, pars intermedia (commissura) bulborum, located between the clitoris and the external opening of the urethra. Each lobe is a dense venous plexus, elongated lateral parts of which are laid at the base of the labia majora; These are flattened, spindle-shaped formations that thicken posteriorly and cover up the large glands of the vestibule with their posterior ends.

From the outside and from the bottom, each of the half bulb on the threshold is covered with an onion-spongy muscle, m. Bulbospongiosus.
