Breast Fascia

Thoracic fascia , fascia pectoralis; Its superficial lamina, lamina superficialis, covers the outer surface of the large pectoral muscle and fuses at the top with the clavicle, medially with the sternum, laterally passes into the fascia covering the anterior dentate muscle, and downwards to the fascia of the abdominal wall. In the subclavian fossa, a deep lamina, lamina profunda, surrounds the small thoracic and subclavian muscles and fuses with the clavicle and the coracoid scapula of the scapula. In the axillary cavity the fascia in the form of dense formation is transferred from the lower edge of the large pectoral muscle to the lower edge of the latissimus muscle of the back, forming the axillary fascia, fascia axillaris.

Klyuchichio-thoracic fascia , fascia clavipectoralis, is part of the thoracic fascia in the subclavian fossa. It is considerably densified and fused with the vessels passing under it (a. Et v. Subclaviae).

The thoracic fascia , fascia thoracica, is a rather dense plate covering mm. Intercostales externi and ribs.

The hilar fascia , fascia endothoracica, lining the inner surface of the walls of the chest.
