The nutrition expert told how often we should eat to look better
Nutrition (physiological act) - the maintenance of human life and health by means of food - the process of absorbing food by living organisms to maintain the normal course of physiological processes of vital activity, in particular, to replenish the energy reserve and to realize the processes of growth and development. Animals and other heterotrophic organisms must eat to survive; their diet and the process of absorbing nutrients depend on the biological class to which they relate. In humans and animals, nutrition is a common kind of daily activity.
Healthy nutrition is a food that provides growth, normal development and life activity of a person, contributing to the strengthening of his health and the prevention of diseases. Adherence to the rules of healthy eating combined with regular exercise reduces the risk of chronic diseases and disorders, such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer. Modern science conducts numerous studies to optimize the diet for the prevention of major chronic diseases.
For many of us, the word diet sounds like a punishment that deprives us of the opportunity to enjoy our favorite food and eat healthy food. But it is not so. Michelle Adams-Arent , a nutrition and sports consultant, says that a diet is not so much a restriction of one's diet as a proper distribution throughout the day.
We publish the "secret" of nutrition, which will help you get rid of excess weight without mental suffering for tasty little cookies and cakes.
How often should I eat?
Different diets have different quirks: give up fried, do not eat sweets, eat only protein, or even switch to one vegetable. All this in most cases harms us, if not physically, then mentally. In fact, it's not so important how much we eat, more important is when we do it.
Our body is designed so that over a certain time it absorbs some amount of food or energy. And all that we have not spent (not learned), peacefully stocked "in the sides." But if you feed the body in portions that will be fully absorbed, then there will be nothing to stock up. And in fact you can eat whatever you want (within reason, of course).
"Six meals a day is much better for losing weight than the standard three, no matter how strange it may sound," says Michel.
Look, when we eat every few hours in small portions, we get much more useful from food and also lose excess weight. But nevertheless, the quality of food is still important: if you eat six hamburgers a day, then you will not get any healthier. Do not forget to also use healthy foods, such as vegetables or fruits.
If you are used to counting each component in your dinner, we have prepared for you a small table that will help you calculate the number of calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates that you have to eat per day just to stay in the "form".
To find out, for example, how many calories you need to receive per day, you need to multiply your weight by 25 (if you are a woman) or 28 (if a man). But it's worth saying that this is the minimum number of calories if we lie on the couch and do nothing.
"There is nothing fundamentally new in this," says Michel. Most people just do not understand how you can look better and eat what you want. Therefore, they torture themselves with "strange" diets or at all refuse to eat. Yes, you sometimes have to struggle with the temptation not to eat an extra pirozhenka, but you will not stay hungry.
