The causes of hearing loss may be the effects of noise, maze disease (eg, Ménière's illness), intoxication, otosclerosis in combination with internal ear lesions and malignant furuncles (eg, neurinoma of the auditory nerve). Before the source of therapy it is necessary to find out the cause of the disease by the route of a thorough examination.
For some forms of hearing loss (for example, with otosclerosis) an operation is indicated.
For oral therapy of this disease, drugs are prescribed:
Galium-Heel - 3 times a day for 8-10 drops;
Barijodeel - 3 times a day for 1 tablet;
Graphites-Homaccord - 3 times a day for 8-10 drops.
These drugs can be taken as if together, and alternately.
Depending on the specific symptoms, you can additionally assign:
1. Vertigoheel (drops) - with dizziness;
2. Osteoheel S (tablets) - with no confidence in changes in the bones of the inner ear;
3. Cimicifuga-Homaccord (drops) - with noise in the ears;
4. Aesculus compositum (droplets) - for the regulation of peripheral circulation.
For parenteral therapy are shown Graphites-Homaccord , Galium-Heel , Vertigoheel , Engystol N (alternately or in a mixture of 2 injections per week intramuscularly or intravenously).
Since streptomycin seems to be likely to cause hearing loss, it is recommended that Streptomycin-Injeel is included in the schedule. It can be injected in admixture with Os petrosum suis-Injeel .
Additionally, catalysts for the citric acid cycle are recommended.
To enhance the therapeutic effect, stepwise autohemotherapy with suis-organ preparations Cerebrum totalis suis-Injeel , Os petrosum suis-Injeel , Tuba Eustachii suis-Injeel can be prescribed . For more details, see the appendix.
