Abscess of cheek

Depending on the depth of the process, swelling and redness will be more pronounced, either from the side of the cheek skin, or the mucous membrane of the oral cavity. The pain is weak, but it becomes worse when the mouth is opened. The disorder of the general condition is moderately expressed. It is dangerous to spread the abscess to the neighboring parts of the face. Prior to treatment (compulsory), an anesthetic is recommended, a warm bandage, and a mouth rinse.
