Angiocardiography

X-ray examination of the cavities of the heart and large vessels after the introduction of a contrast agent into the bloodstream by means of a catheter.
Applied for the diagnosis of congenital and acquired heart defects and anomalies in the development of major vessels. It allows to reveal the character, localization of the defect, circulatory disturbance. Contraindications - acute liver and kidney disease, severe myocardial damage, increased sensitivity to iodine drugs.
