Antipyrine


- from the derivatives of pyrazolone, was introduced into therapy first (1884, amidopyrin synthesized three years later). Has a moderate anti-inflammatory effect, less active than amidopyrine, analgin, especially butadione. Applied inside with neuralgia, rheumatism, colds, adult dose - 0.25-0.5 g per reception, 2-3 times a day. With local application also has some hemostatic effect: 1020% solution for wetting tampons with nosebleeds.
