Diseases

Causes parasitic worms, or helminths (worms): ascarids, pinworms, echinococcus and others. Their eggs or larvae enter the mouth with water, dust, mud through hands, vegetables, berries, fruits. Some larvae penetrate the skin when walking barefoot or lying on the ground (helminths, common in countries with hot climates, including in Central Asia). Infection often occurs with the use of insufficiently processed meat or fish, which is especially common in the North, where they are eaten raw, during the tasting of minced meat, when preparing meat dishes, poorly salted sal. Infection with echinococcus occurs through the hands contaminated by the faeces of sick dogs. The carriers of parasites can also be mosquitoes, flies.
In the middle lane in children, ascariasis and enterobiosis are most common (infection with pinworms). These diseases are figuratively called "diseases of unwashed hands". As can be seen from the name itself, the causes are contaminated vegetables, fruits, berries (very often strawberries, which children eat right from the bed), as well as a lack of habit of washing their hands before eating. If a child with ascariasis or enterobiosis visits a kindergarten, the disease can be epidemic. With helminthiasis, signs that are characteristic of each type of lesion develop.
